I bought this jacket to update/replace my aging Tourmaster Intake, which always fit "floppy". This First Gear has a nicer fit, and I appreciate that First Gear is one of the few gear suppliers that sells tall sizes. On a recent 2,000 mile trip to Laguna Seca and back, the Mesh Tex performed well at 100+ degrees with a cooling vest underneath. The one complaint I have with this jacket, and it's a fairly big one, is the collar. My Tourmaster had a nice, soft piece of material on the inside layer, but the First Gear has a shorter collar, and the outer material cuts into my neck. By the time I got to N. Cal from Arizona I had a fairly raw neck. If I find a jacket with a better collar I may sell the First Gear in favor of something that doesn't make me a "redneck".
Yes, I recommend this product.

I am used to wearing heavy duty adventure and MX boots on my GS and Husky, but I needed something a little less clunky for riding our new Vespa. These TCX fit the bill perfectly. They provide some degree of protection while still offering some degree of styling. The fit was accurate. They are comfortable. The slightly worn or distressed look fits in with current fashion as well. The soles appear to be already "pre-stained" as though you wore them around the garage. The laces are a bit long, and good thing there are no peges or foot levers on the scooter to grab them.
All in all I am very happy with this purchase. Would I wear them on my GS? No, but they are great for the Vespa.
Yes, I recommend this product.
