Sidi Adventure GTX Boots The Sidi Adventure GTX Boots are the gold standard for adventure riding boots. Sidi pulled all the best bits from their famous line of off-road boots and combined them with the legendary quality of their road boots to create the glorious hybrid cyborg that is the Adventure Gore-Tex Boots. A bit more comfortable than off-road boots, the Adventure GTX boots incorporate a hinged ankle support, a rigid and shock-resistant heel cup and composite inner sole with a top grain leather construction, replaceable cam-lock buckles and a sweat wicking cambrelle lining. The slim adjustable calf fits easily inside the pant leg of most riding pants, something that is not always possible with a traditional off-road boot, making them all the more attractive to ADV advocates and enduro enthusiasts. To top off the list of premium feathers these boots are 100 waterproof and breathable with a Gore-Tex lining that is Guaranteed to Keep You Dry . Features Soft rubber sole for maximum grip Replaceable strap system Top grain leather construction Composite inner sole Removable arch support Exclusive cam-lock buckle system Cambrelle lining Slim, cool non-bootie design Rigid, shock resistant, anatomically shaped heel for maximum protection Split grain leather inner anti-wear/heat panel Single Flex System upper

Bought these to replace Sidi canyons which are also great boots. My Canyons were a half a size small for me but I still wore them 3 years. Loved the canyons but always felt they were a little lacking in protection. Received an email from Revzilla about $50 off Adventure Gortex boots, that was enough for me to place the order. As others have stated they are very comfortable out of the box.
I am anywhere from a 9 to a 10 shoe size depending on manufacturer. I bought size 44, US 10 and they are perfect.
Some have mentioned squeaking. To me it's more like the noise a saddle makes. Unless you're in an office probably not a problem.
I feel protection is about as good as it gets unless you go with a motocross boot.
The toe box is taller then the Canyons, I may adjust my shift lever but I'm getting used to it.

I purchased this as a rain/dew cover for an upcoming week long trip. I ordered an XL for a 2012 Multistrada with top case and side cases. Goes over the top case and windshield fine. Haven't had the side cases on yet but it looks like it will cover the tops of them with me running a bungee underneath to hold in place. If it doesn't go over the cases its not a deal breaker for me, I was more interested in covering seat and cockpit area. It has some built in straps including a couple that loop over the foot pegs. It packs up small in its own bag. Don't think its heavy enough for year round use, but perfect for occasional use.

Arai XD-4 Helmet - Solid Colors The Arai XD4 is world renowned for being the one of the best ADV touring helmets on the market and one of the few that achieves a Snell M2010 safety rating. The XD4 incorporates all of the same great qualities found in Arai's other helmets including the comfort liner and cheek pads that feature 5mm peel-away pads that allow riders to tailor the fit. The shell of the XD4 has also been aerodynamically tuned and, in concert with the removable floating peak visor, funnels air into the redesigned vents, improving overall ventilation and mitigating buffeting at speed. The XD-4 is the helmet of choice for many hardcore ADV enthusiasts and sets an industry standard for comfort, quality and safety. Features Comfort headliner, with micro fitting 5mm peel away temple pads Fully removable/replaceable/washable Interior Comfort head liner, Cheek pads, Chinstrap covers Dry-Cool technology keeps you dry and cool for greater comfort Patent pending, FCS (Facial Contour Support) cheek pad design, also with a 5mm peel away micro fit feature Improved shell shape for better aerodynamic stability at higher street speeds Exhaust ports added to the top diffuser vents Chin vent with more intake ports Larger sculpted side cowl vents improve ventilation Snell M2010 approved

I wanted a dual sport helmet because of the bill or visor and the more open face port. The video review on revzilla sold me on the Arai xd4. I just returned from a four day trip and I am very satisfied with the xd4.. The venting was very good, temps were in the high 80's. Rode tru alot of rain and with the shield just cracked open there was no fogging. Only about 10 percent of the ride on interstate so no issue with wind resistance. I have had the helmet over 100 and it was fine. Typical interstate speeds of 60 to 85 for a couple of hours fine too. I was smack in between a med and large so went with med. I removed a layer of cheek foam and then pinched off more foam where it was uncomfortable against the bottom of my ear. Perfect fit now and very comfortable. I ride a Multistrada so I'm in an upright position.

The jacket flows air well and provides good protection. The wind proof water proof liner does a great job on cool mornings. Wore in hard rain once and it kept me dry. Jacket retained alot of water though and took a day to dry. Havnt tried the thermal lining yet. Jacket is a great value, only complaint is sleeves are too long, not a big issue.

Put these on a 2011 ninja 1000. Not available thru revzilla, had to buy thru dealer. Or at least the mounts were not available from revzilla. Cases from Kawasaki were logoed Kawasaki which looks good on bike. I bought the liner bags thru revzilla. These cases are awesome but a lot of money. Mounting system, locking system all excellent. The directions were difficult in the part that addressed relocating the turn signals and the extension harness was not long enough to install as shown. Once past that part the framework install was easy and fit perfect. Just returned from a four day trip and love the cases, wish they were cheaper.
