This summer jacket in leather vaunts an unusually original design, contrasting inserts and finishes achieved with the combination of different materials and a paint treatment that recalls motorcycle bodies. Elevated safety levels are ensured by homologated composite protectors and the possibility to insert the G-type back protector. Perforated cowhide provides excellent resistance to wear and tear in addition to comfort during the warmest months of the year. Overall very happy with this jacket, and it's become my staple jacket for warm weather riding.
It's a jacket that offers the protection of leather with ventilation. Well constructed and stylish as well. The leather is not as thick as some of my other gear, but I think this is by design to allow for the warmer weather riding it is designed for. The perforation works well, albeit not as well as my Dainese mesh jacket), but again it is a perforated leather jacket not a full mesh jacket.
It is a more generous cut than some of the other Dainese jackets. Being 5'7", 205lb, the 52 was tight, & the 54 allows me to get a thin soft-shell jacket underneath for when it cools down.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Positives: comfortable when wearing, flows air, well constructed, typical high quality from Dainese, adequate protection (not that I have come off with them, but appear so)
Negatives: the coccyx hard plate. While a useful feature, unless you are on a sports bike where you really lean forwards, you end up sitting on this plate (I do on my cruiser) making the ride somewhat uncomfortable. Also the thigh pads will make your thighs about 3/8" wider on each side, so depending on how tight your pants are, as to whether these will fit comfortably underneath.
Yes, I recommend this product.

differences between the Hard Shorts & the Pro Shorts

OK I can figure out that the hard shorts have a hard coccyx protector, but what other differences with the Pro Shorts? My main concern was which of the 2 are a thiner profile (& how much)? Not that I care how big my rear looks, but to wear under jeans/leathers wanting to know there is enough space. Tried the Pro shorts but not these so want to know how they compare
