Puig Touring Windscreen Yamaha FZ1 2006-2013 For long distance rides, PUIG introduces the Touring series to minimize the wind blast against the rider. These screens raise the wind blast in several centimeters allowing the rider to keep a more comfortable position riding the motorcycle and a shaded part on the lower section of the screen to cover cables behind the speedometer. 10cm higher than OEM windscreen

At 6"3" with a very long torso the stock FZ1 screen provided almost no wind protection. I liked the look of the PUIG better than the Zero Gravity Sport Touring Screen, especially since you cant get the ZG in dark smoke anymore (as far as I can tell). The dark smoke PUIG looks great, fits perfect, and is a huge improvement over stock. My head and part of my shoulders are still in clean air, but the windblast on my chest is much reduced. I don't notice any new buffeting. My line of vision is a good foot above the screen so I can't really say much about optics. It isn't as cheap as some others, and the construction doesn't seem overly bomber, but it seems adequate. Overall, I am very happy and would recommend this screen.
