Forcefield Back Protector Pro Sub 4 The Forcefield Back Protector Pro Sub 4 is the worlds first Motorcycle back protector to transmit less than 4kn when subjected to the standard CE test. The Pro Sub 4 has been specifically designed to test at under 4kn when subjected to the standard CE test EN1621-2. Independent testing by SATRA shows a mean test result of 3.38kn transmitted energy, making it the first motorcycle back protector in the world to attain this level of performance. I bought this in conjuction with the Action Shirt and Pro Pants and cannot say enough good things about them.
This back protector in particular is amazing. You seriously do not notice it once on and it's so comfortable.
My only concern would be as it's quite thick, how it will fit in my Scorpion jacket that I've ordered.
Fingers crossed I can fit it all.
Definitely one to get. If you're going to buy a back protector, you might as well get the best.

I bought these in addition to the Action Shirt and Pro Sub 4 Back Protector. I cannot say enough about this brand. They fit well and, though it's a bit of a squeeze, can fit under my normal pair of jeans.
My only gripe is that the, for lack of a better word, "bottom protectors" can get a bit uncomfortable when sitting on the couch. On the bike though, I had no problems whatsoever. The knee armour tends to sag when walking around, but again, on the bike is no problem.
Have yet to try them in summer (as it's winter here atm) but they keep me sufficiently warm now. The material is a wonderful mesh, lycra hybrid so it's extremely comfortable and I think it'll keep me cool when the warmer weather rolls around.
But all in all, if you're after impact protection that's so comfortable you forget you're wearing it, you can't go past Forcefield.

With regards to the Forcefield action shirt, how does it stand up as a daily street ride source of protection?
I can't say from first hand experience whether they hold up in a crash (thankfully) but I can say when I'm wearing it, I feel extremely well protected.
