I wanted the more expensive boots but could not justify $400-$650 for boots. I had a friend recommend these and decided to try them. Put them on for the first time on a Saturday morning and rode almost 400 miles, including about 45 miles of blowing rain. When I pulled back in the garage, my feet were dry, warm and boots were very comfortable, right out of the box. So now I am totally happy with these and glad I didn't get the more expensive ones I had considered.

How does the AFX-39 work for riders with glasses?

How hard is it to put glasses on and off with helmet on? I generally wear a modular or flip-up helmet but really want to try one of these AFX helmets.
