Good jacket that could be great with minor tweaks.

I have had the jacket for a couple of weeks, riding in temps ranging from 40 to 85 degrees. I haven't ridden in rain, so I'm unsure of how waterproof the jacket/pockets are. Here are the pros/cons I've noticed, so far.
Pros:
-more than adequate protection in elbows, shoulders, and back.
-vents provide a lot of airflow
-great design
-ample reflectivity
Cons:
-rear pouch is too small, both liners barely fit.
-small chest pockets; not available with vents open
-not enough water storage
-the zipper for map pocket should be as large as pocket. I have to fold and cram directions into the small, zippered opening
The jacket has a bunch of options that most people won't use, or they'll remove from the jacket, via the numerous zippers holding everything together. They are great ideas that need more refinement. Velcro stitching is already ripping, which has me worried about the longevity of the jacket.

I decided to write a review on this helmet after walking away from a low-side at highway speeds. The Hornet DS protected my head and face while I slid about 60ft through an open field. The only damage was a busted lip when the chin of the mask caught a bump in the field. This is a great mask.
I've had the helmet for two years, and I've been through every type of weather imaginable, at high speeds, and on dirt. This helmet will do everything.
The only negatives about the helmet are that it's huge. I have done a side-by-side comparison with my other helmets, and the Shoei Hornet is much larger. I'm okay with looking a bit goofy if it will save my life. As others have noted, the visor can be quite cumbersome at speeds over 80mph.
Vision and airflow on the helmet are excellent.
Yes, I recommend this product.
