Cleanest and easiest installation I've seen in a helmet coms system so far. Simple install with perfect integration.
**I always wear ear plugs when riding** Speakers are more than loud enough riding at 80+ on a naked bike. I'm sure if you had some kind of faring they would be even better. I typically listen to podcasts and books on tape while riding and get good clarity and volume from this system without turning the volume all the way up.
I had a SMH-10r before this and was impressed with the size and got familiar with how the remote worked so this wasn't a big jump for me. I like how the remote works but I mount it upside down on my bars so it doesnt interfere with my horn and signal switch.

Icon El Bajo Boots In Spanish El Bajo means The Short One, but the Icon El Bajo Boots come up far from short when it comes to performance and steez. Based on the design of the Elsinore Boots, the El Bajo have the same Goodyear welt sole and buckles, but in a shorter package for when full size boots just aren't convenient for the mobile masses. Metal post fasteners, heavy top-grain leather chassis, and reinforced toe box and heel make for a serious piece of riding footwear Features: Top grain leather upper Goodyear welt construction Icon cast metal buckles Icon stamped metal heel plate Heat pressed leather shifter panel Heat pressed molded leather shin plate Axialmetric steel shank Medial YKK zippers

I just got these boots and have taken a few 200+ mile rides in them. So far they are breaking in nicely as I am wearing them both on and off the bike. After the first decent day of riding the left side leather began to show wear from the shifter which is not a big deal, since that is what that part of the boot is made to do. I am hoping that these boots will hold up long term, but I have no experience with them as this is my first pair of Icon boots.
These are very stylish and have good protection but because they are low cut, they do not give the same feeling of protection as you would get from a full height MX boot or a road/race boot.
I would recommend these boots to anyone who is looking for a stylish boot for light riding, or commuting to work and then wearing the boot at your job. You will get lots of compliments from riders and non-riders alike. This is more of a fashion boot than a "real" riding boot but I really like all the safety equipment and solid build technology that Icon has put into this boot. Nice work Icon. Stylish and protective for light riding.

I was tired of looking like a superhero when walking around town. This jacket has a very subdued style and the armor doesnt make you look like a football player either. Like all alpinestars gear the sizing is "european" so you need to get a size larger than normal. I do wish the zippers had pull tabs on them to ease using them with gloves on. Also the jacket should have come with a wind blocking layer like most other mesh jackets for early morning or evening rides.
Good: Mellow style that works off the bike. quality Alpinestars construction. fantastic airflow.
Bad: some corner cutting, i.e. no pull tabs on zippers, no wind blocking liner, no back protector.
Yes, I recommend this product.
