Icon El Bajo Boots El Bajo - literally translated it means The Short One. Short perhaps in overall height, but never in performance or steez. Built on the same Goodyear welt bottom unit as its five-buckle Elsinore brother, El Bajo provides all the OG moto-presence but in a reduced two-buckle silhouette. Metal post fasteners, heavy top-grain leather chassis, and reinforced toe box and heel make for a serious piece of riding footwear. The Icon One Thousand El Bajo - always up to the challenge. I just got these boots and have taken a few 200+ mile rides in them. So far they are breaking in nicely as I am wearing them both on and off the bike. After the first decent day of riding the left side leather began to show wear from the shifter which is not a big deal, since that is what that part of the boot is made to do. I am hoping that these boots will hold up long term, but I have no experience with them as this is my first pair of Icon boots.
These are very stylish and have good protection but because they are low cut, they do not give the same feeling of protection as you would get from a full height MX boot or a road/race boot.
I would recommend these boots to anyone who is looking for a stylish boot for light riding, or commuting to work and then wearing the boot at your job. You will get lots of compliments from riders and non-riders alike. This is more of a fashion boot than a "real" riding boot but I really like all the safety equipment and solid build technology that Icon has put into this boot. Nice work Icon. Stylish and protective for light riding.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I was tired of looking like a superhero when walking around town. This jacket has a very subdued style and the armor doesnt make you look like a football player either. Like all alpinestars gear the sizing is "european" so you need to get a size larger than normal. I do wish the zippers had pull tabs on them to ease using them with gloves on. Also the jacket should have come with a wind blocking layer like most other mesh jackets for early morning or evening rides.
Good: Mellow style that works off the bike. quality Alpinestars construction. fantastic airflow.
Bad: some corner cutting, i.e. no pull tabs on zippers, no wind blocking liner, no back protector.
Yes, I recommend this product.
