I am an old school biker and despise helmets, but my wife has been riding me for years to wear one. Over this time I have bought everything from $500+ Shoei to $35 novelty helmets, and really couldn't bring myself to wear them. I saw the Shark, liked the design, and decided to drop the change to give it a try. My first ride was in the 30-40 degree range without ANY fogging or cold air eating me up. The helmet is quiet, but I can still hear the nuances of my engine and exhaust. Visual range is no more impaired than when wearing goggles, and frankly, is incredibly aerodynamic. I have finally found a helmet I can wear!! Happy wife, happy life... the Sharktooth system is a natural next buy,
Yes, I recommend this product.

I am not a helmet guy. 30+ years of riding and helmets only when I was in the Army and HAD to... and then, I got the cheapest thing that met the requirement. No more...
THIS HELMET IS AWESOME. The fit is firm and fitted without being crushing. I am a big-time fan of peripheral vision and, while not as wide as no helmet (duh!), this helmet has a wide field of view both laterally and vertically (no tunnel vision). Sounds are dampened well, but I can still hear (and I'm hearing impaired) important sounds around me. My only disappointment was with fogging of the face shield when fully secured... cured with anti-fog gel. So... I hate wearing helmets and hate spending money... but the Qwest proved doing both was worthwhile, indeed!
