After breaking my original Sena SMH-10 mount, I had to purchase a new one. Then, after I replaced that one, I got a Neotec, on which the original would not fit properly, so I purchased this due to the detached boom. Works great!

I live and ride in the Las Vegas, Nevada metro area, and after my last pair of riding pants was destroyed in a low-side, I was very glad to have been wearing them; I now refuse to ride without full gear.
These pants are very easy to get on and off, as well as feeling very protective. I have not yet taken a fall in them, and I hope to never, but they feel protective.
The fit is somewhat snug, which is good and bad; Good in that they should be snug so the armor does not slide when you hit the ground, bad because it requires some acrobatics to get on and off the bike sometimes. However, they are quite comfortable on and off the bike.
They do not breathe; I ride with the top zipper about 1/16th of the way down and the bottom zipper up just over my boot to allow for a bit more airflow. In 95 degree heat with sun and a leather jacket, one expects to get hot. The summer is going to be brutal when it really gets hot. They would make great pants for riding longer distances in varying climates.
Overall, the pants are awesome, as was my experience with RevZilla. Great service, prices, and selection.

What is the average battery life for using two Sena SMH10 units on the same bike as an intercom if the channel is left open continuously? I'm used to a system that is a true VOX system and does not require a button push to communicate. Thank you.
I had them on for about 9 hours without a charge with them open during a ride. (no VOX on, just intercom) and had no problems. No push-to-talk required, however you can push the jog dial on the side to turn them off if you want/need to. (Sneezing, coughing, yelling at someone, as these units can get very loud to the other party.)

Are these pants appropriate to wear over shorts in the summer time?
Will they provide adequate abrasion protection if only wearing shorts underneath? Most of my riding is commuting....some highway riding.. max speed 60-65! Thank you!!!! :-)
I wear these pants in the summer over pants, but I have ridden with some dickies shorts on and they are not too uncomfortable. The liner may stick to your legs, though, when you begin to sweat. They did not when I wore them, but it was a short ride and they were removed at my destination.

Does these pants make noise when walking?
Hi, just wondering if these pants make the typical noise that the waterproof textiles do when you walk. Thanks.
They do make some noise, depending on how you walk. I usually walk with my legs farther apart with them on because I have been riding and it just feels more comfortable, but if they do, it's only ever at the bottoms of them. Not too annoying, though, in my opinion.
