If you have Wolfman soft panniers, you really have no choice but to use these bag straps. Fortunately, they are high quality, relatively inexpensive and work very well.

Wolfman Expedition Dry Saddle Bags Wolfman went all out to create the Expedition Dry Saddlebags. They designed these bags to be durable and 100 waterproof for the most adventurous and aggressive riders around. Wolfman started with burly 22 ounce and 34 ounce vinyl, and used cutting-edge Radio Frequency technology for completely sealed seams. These 100 waterproof bags seal out dust, mud and odors. Ideal in any climate, from the Wet Pacific Northwest, Rainy Emerald Isle, to dry dusty climates, and all weather in between. Roll-top closures seal the bags and make it easy to adjust capacity to suit your gear. The bags have two straps over the seat and each bag attaches to any tubular side racks at 4 points for maximum hold. The mounting straps double as compression straps to keep the load attached and tight. Wolfman also uses an internal Butterfly stiffener, stiff back, bottom and front, which helps the bag retain shape and allows the load to be compressed tightly. Features: 100 Waterproof fabric - 22oz body and 34oz bottom Waterproof roll-top with no-wick webbing Multi Compression straps to cinch the load tight Includes universal mounting straps Recycled tire-rubber backing pad Extra tall opening for size adjustability Tough, functional luggage protects your gear Radio Frequency welded no-leak seams Roll-top closures seal out the elements Waterproof top webbing won't wick in water Sold as a pair Made in the USA Dimensions: Length: 13 Width: 7 Height: 13 adjustable about 3 more Capacity: 38 liters per pair - 19 liters each The extra tall opening can adjust to add 2 or more liters per bag

I purchased these bags to put on to a rack manufactured by someone other than Wolfman. (Wolfman doesn't make racks any more.....) The install was very simple. I purchased the saddle bag straps and that made the mounting even more simple. My first ride with bags mounted was a 250 mile dual sport ride encompassing all conditions; dust, light rain, water crossings, speedy sections and some rough terrain. I was a little skeptical about how stable the panniers would be. Considering they are held in place by four straps and two pieces of 2-inch webbing over the seat and rack on the back of my KTM 690 Enduro R, I believed they would move all over the place. This was not the case at all. They held right in place and performed very well. No water or dust infiltration was detected after the ride. They look cool. (I chose yellow) It's been a while since I had a set of soft panniers but I know I will drop the bike on some of my more challenging rides. I believe these will hold up just fine and give me years of good service.

I just finished a six day ride from Texas to Colorado. I rode 2800 miles during this journey. I have an after market seat on my R1200gs Adventure. While it is comfortable, on extra long rides, it's not so great. Friends recommended an Airhawk. I decided to step up and buy the Airhawk R. I have to say, it was a good buy. Most of the time I was riding, I didn't even think about my butt. Anyone who has done any distance riding knows this is a very good thing. I sometimes had to adjust the cover and rearrange a few things (if you know what I mean) but, other than that, I really have no complaints about the Airhawk R.
As the directions indicate, you don't need a lot of air in the air chambers. When you hit higher elevations, you'll need to let a little air out but, this is very simple. I actually did this while riding on a straight piece of roadway. (I don't recommend this behavior.) When I came down from the mountains, I added a little puff of air and all was good again.
If you're planning a long ride, do yourself a favor and pick up a Airhawk R. You won't be disappointed.

This is the third modular helmet that I have owned. I've owned another Shoei and a Schuberth. Both of those helmets had their own little issues but not like this helmet. When I close the chin bar, there is little to no clearance between my chin and the lower front of the helmet. I don't have a particularly large chin or long face. It makes the helmet a little uncomfortable but not unwearable. I will hopefully get used to this fitment.
Otherwise, I am quite pleased with the venting. I live in Central Texas and have worn it 100+ degree temperatures. The air moves well through the helmet, making it quite cool in the crown and back. The shape of the helmet is no par with the other four Shoei helmets I currently own. The finish is excellent and the Bright Yellow color is very visible and nicely applied. I like the vision pattern and the visor optics are excellent. The interior pad construction is what you would expect for a helmet in this price range and the operation of the mechanism is crisp and reassuring. The best thing about the helmet is the noise level at speed. For a modular helmet it is very quiet.
In summary, I believe the helmet will serve me well and I recommend it. I just wish there was another 1/4-inch of chin room but, I think I'll get used to this.
