There certainly are cheaper disk locks, but this one is really, really sturdy and absurdly easy to use. The alarm is loud enough (although it could be louder). It does include the warning lanyard so you can easily remind yourself that the lock is in place.

These are great pants, easy to put on since the sides zip almost all the way to the belt line. There are plenty of adjustments for the knee pads and. The external pockets are exactly where they need to be, so I'm not fumbling for the zipper. I'm not eager to test the protective capabilities, but they are certainly robust, made out of the heaviest Cordura that I've ever seen and adequate knee armor (the hip pads are a bit on the soft side, however). I wanted an up-sized version to wear over lightweight slacks, but the 36" version I got was a bit tight even when worn alone, and I normally wear 35" Levi's, so I had to exchange them for 38" (thanks, RevZilla) which are a bit too baggy. The extra length, however, is perfect since I like to have them cover the full height of my boots even while bent over in riding position.

This is a very tough bag, and it has no problem staying in place without damaging the finish. There are plenty of pockets, and the hydration option is pretty cool for those days when I leave the coast. It is, however, a bit more narrow than I'd like, and the phone/GPS pocket is a very tight fit for an iPhone. Maybe be it will loosen up with usage ... I hope so.

These are very handsome, well-built boots. They have enough feel in the toe for good shifting, and walking in them is fairly nice (although I wouldn't want to wear them all day). They are a bit narrow for my foot, but then I normally wear nicely blunt-toed Merrill slip-ons. The rains ended absurdly late this year in Santa Cruz, but I never got a chance to test the waterproofness (if there is such a word).

My wife didn't like my original choice (a really nice one on clearance from RevZilla) because it was black, and she'd just finished her MSF riding course, where they admonished the students for wearing anything dark or drab. After thinking for a minute (and getting agreement that it was OK to spend more :) ... I swapped it for the Airglide 3 in Toxic. What a great jacket! Comfortable, versatile, and confidence-inspiring. And did I say it was HI-VIZ? Drivers never ignore it, and fellow riders say complementary things about it (after the normal, "let me put on my sunglasses first" comments). So, thanks to my wife for encouraging the swap, and especially to RevZilla for making the exchange so painless.

I'm very confused by the size chart. I'm planning to buy the Mens Airglide Pants and my true waist is 43". However, my jeans waist size is 36. Now which is the size presented in the size chart? What size shuold I buy for the pants?

Your mileage may vary depending on whether you plan on use them as overpants or not. I have a jeans waist of 35", but had to get the 38" to fit them over regular khaki's ... in fact, the 36" were a touch too small even when just wearing shorts underneath.
Mind you, the 38's are rather baggy on me, but I'd rather have that than a rather stiff band of Cordura squeezing my gut for 8 hours ...

The Airglide riding pants has a waterproof liner. Does it have a full length side zipper?
With a full length zipper, you can zip it UP in hot dry weather, tuck it to the inside of the leg and get good air flow. If it starts to rain, pull over, zip it down and you're good to go in the rain.
Yes, it does ... both the external shell and internal liner have zips from the cuff all the way up to just below the belt ... they are so easy to get on and off (with boots *on*) that I store the liner in my tank bag and when it rains (or we get a windy, cold, wet fog along the coast), I actually stop, pull off the shell, put on the liner, then the shell back on top. It takes less than five minutes to do all that (maybe faster if I wait until the rain is actually starting).

Can TCX X-Five Plus Gore-Tex Boot, be worn for a long time and walked in for say 4 - 6 hours Comfortably
While on long rides, say 1 to 2 weeks, I would like not to have to pack other shoes. Can a person ware these say for all day and not end up a cripple, haha. While my wife is with me, she likes to shop, which means stopping at places and looking around for hours.
I've worn mine every day for a week while on short rides, and I've worn them all day just walking around to break them in. No problems so far ... I might try going on a short hike this weekend to see if they can be OK even when the going gets a bit rough.
