To provide a review, some things need to be put into perspective first. I wanted (not needed) a Bluetooth comm unit and saw this purchase as a luxury and not a necessity. I'm also the guy who couldn't program his VCR, so I knew a purchase like this would present some opportunities.
I put more research into this purchase than I probably did with some car purchases. I decided on this unit based on the in depth review by RevZilla and am glad I did. I simply couldn't believe that the recommended unit for my helmet would be twice as good for twice the price.
I was grateful to find the video on how to install this unit into my specific helmet, otherwise I would have had some anger issues as the instructions provided are incredibly frustrating to a guy like me.
I was able to figure out how to download the updates, but to a guy like me, that took some time and figuring out how to do it took more time than the actual update.
I was honestly blown away with the sound quality once I put the helment on and tested it. I wasn't riding at 70 miles per hour though.
I don't have music loaded on to an mp3 type device, so my choices for music were limited to the built in FM radio. I found that if I could find a great station, the sound was good, not great (at 70 mph), but if I was between cities (as I was recently on my 2200 mile roundtrip adventure) the sound quality was diminished, especially while riding.
I often enjoy riding alone, so the intercom capability was not as important to me, but I have confidence that it would work as well or better than the phone service.
While on my journey, I received 2 urgent and important phone calls and I was impressed (and thankful) with how easy it was to answer the call and to hear and be heard. The phone feature far outweighed the radio feature.
I placed the speakers into the middle of the space where the video showed to place them. Throughout my journey, I found that by moving the speakers forward, I improved the sound quality of the radio.
The handlebar control unit is simply brilliant! I always ride with gloves (even in the summer) and had no issue using the controller. This was the easiest and best part of the comm unit. I bet other brands will move to this type of controller.
For those that did not recommend this unit in their review, I'm not sure what they were expecting, but given that this unit was recommended as superior to anything else RevZilla reviewed, I'm confident that there isn't another unit out there for my helmet that could currently outperform the Sena 10U.
In time, I'm confident that I'll figure out how to maximize the potential of this unit for my wants and needs.

I ride an r1200GSA and if you're going to own one of these bikes, you should be prepared to ride in all weather conditions. As such, I needed dry bags to store my gear for long distance rides. I purchased the large and medium sized bag in yellow as I thought it more important to help to increase visibility in the rain (or sun).
I recently took an 2200 mile, roundtrip adventure and the first 7 hours were in a constant, moderate to heavy downpour of rain. I packed so much stuff that I was only able to roll each bag 2 times (instead of the recommended 3 times) yet the bags kept everything bone dry. My only gripe is that I should have purchased two of the large bags.
Because my bike is already equipped with a full complement of panniers, I placed these dry bags on my back seat. In securing them, I simply used bungee straps and was glad I did as this allowed for easy on/off for me. With these bags stacked on the back seat, I also had a nice backrest for my journey.
An added bonus is that this product is made right here in the USA and you get a sense of "small company" pride with the simple one page instructions provided inside of each bag.
Great job Wolfman and great job RevZilla!

My review would have to echo that of Pappy541.
I have several items from Olympia and continue to buy from them for their continued excellence in quality, fit and value.
I too ride an r1200GSA. I recently rode from central Indiana to south Florida and the first 7 hours of the ride was in a constant, moderate to heavy downpour of rain and because of the time of year, the weather was cool. I purchased the Olympia Horizon Rain jacket and pant combo and it performed excellently.
As the other reviewer stated, I didn't have any problem with fit, comfort, or ability with the hood. The jacket and pants kept me bone dry from neck. to boot.
With everyone going to Hi-Viz yellow/green I chose to purchase Olympia's "RevZilla" orange color yet was slightly apprehensive about this. My concerns were put to rest when fellow travelers would comment to me at rest stops or gas stations that they could really see me. The jacket was a great conversation starter, but let's face it; if you're going to ride in the rain, being visible is just as important as remaining dry.
I don't have any critiques or concerns with this product. I didn't rate airflow above because I really didn't want it to flow air.
Great job Olympia and great job RevZilla!

I ride a BMW 1200 and wanted new waterproof gloves befitting of the BMW image, but with increased safety features over the gloves I had become accustommed to wearing. Having great prior experience, I returned to the Revzilla site to investigate offerings.
The REV'IT! Summit H2O Gloves that Anthony described in the Revzilla video appeared to offer all of the features I wanted at a reasonable price.
I was hoping for a glove that I could wear, even when it's not raining.
I ordered the gloves on a Monday afternoon and didn't expect them for a week, so I was pleasantly surpised when they arrived 2 days later without having to pay rush freight.
I live in the greater Indianapolis area and ride 9-10 months out of the year, commuting 25 miles to and from work each day. As anyone knows, the midwest has been drenched with heavy rain the past 2 months, yet has also seen temperatures in the mid-40's up to the mid 80's. These gloves remain comfortable in cool temperatures and keep me dry while looking stylish. Though described as a summer glove, I am finding them too warm to wear when temperatures climb above 75 degrees.
I love the high gauntlet and the excellent safety features while still looking great on a touring bike.
I wear a large glove most of the time. I ordered these in "large" and find the ft to be perfect.
I would absolutely recommend these gloves to anyone.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Having the right gear is important and not enough thought is put into buying boots. Over the past 3 years, I've purchased all garments/ items necessary for year-round riding. The only item needed was new boots. I was tired of riding in very durable, waterproof "work boots".
I ride a BMW 1200 and wanted a boot befitting of the BMW image. I was not impressed with the boot they offered, so I returned to the Revzilla site to investigate offerings.
The TCX X-Five Plus Gore-Tex Boot that Anthony described in the Revxilla video appeared to offer all of the features I wanted at a reasonable price. I wanted a boot that was waterprooof, even though I would wear it year round, regardless of the weather.
I ordered the boots on a Monday afternoon and didn't expect them for a week, so I was pleasantly surpised when they arrived 2 days later without having to pay rush freight.
I live in the greater Indianapolis area and ride 9-10 months out of the year, commuting 25 miles to and from work each day. As anyone knows, the midwest has been drenched with heavy rain the past 2 months, yet has also seen temperatures in the mid-40's up to the mid 80's. These boots remain comfortable and keep me dry while looking stylish. As insignificant as it may sound, I like the feel that these boots allow me to have of the mototrcycle over the old work boot and I feel safer in them in case I go down in them.
I've had a chance to wear these at "final destinations" and walk around in them and they remain comfortable. Several of the reviews mentioned that the zipper is a little stiff. Initially it is, but I've already logged about 1500 miles in them and the zipper gets eaier to use.
I would absolutely recommend these boots to anyone.
Yes, I recommend this product.
