REVIT Women's Gear 2 Leather Pants When you see 'ladies' behind a REV'IT! style's name, it's not just a smaller version of the men's garment (though that is pretty common in the industry). No, at REV'IT!, women's garments are developed by women, for women - keeping the functional and safety features of the men's version intact, but with a fit engineered perfectly to a woman's shape. With the REVIT Gear 2 ladies' trousers, the serious female riding enthusiast gets the perfect blend in style, safety, and comfort. You've never looked this good in leather, and you've probably never been as safe and comfortable either. I really wanted to like these, I've been wanting to try out and own a Rev'it jacket+pants set. In the end I returned them because they were too bulky at the bottom and slightly too long.
I'm 5'3", waist 25, hips 33.5, inseam 28-29, and 100#. I wear a size 0 or 24/25 in casual pants. I ordered the 34, although the hips seemed too big according to the size chart. These pants were half a size to a size too big, perhaps partly because of my narrower hips. Perhaps they could have worked as overpants, but I would have preferred that they fit more snugly. I was quite disappointed they didn't work out.
The pants seemed nice and substantive/protective and versatile, intended to serve a range of weather conditions from hot to cold. However, I would say they aren't the most sexiest moto pants -- I felt somewhat androgynous wearing them.
I wish Rev'it made size 32 (24-25 waist, 33-34 hips) in regular length for those of us who are quite small. They don't even make a 34 short. I understand that this brand originated in the Netherlands, so that could explain the available sizes.

I didn't end up keeping this jacket because the matching Airwave pants fit me horribly (much too large and frumpy), and I really wanted to buy/use them together.
The jacket was pretty awesome though with such great attention to details: the snaps, adjusters, layers, mesh, so many pockets. It seemed quite substantive, a great option for hot weather needs (which originally led me to evaluate this item) and commuting on freeways. If I could have found smaller Airwave pants that fit and were comfortable, I would definitely have kept these.
At bust 34 and waist 25, size 34 fit me fairly well, not too tight or too loose, perhaps a little too roomy for me in the upper arms though (I have ~9" circumference upper arms).
(In the end I ended up with the Dainese Air-Frame Textile Jacket and Dainese New Drake Air Textile pants both size 40 because together they fit me like gloves.)

REV'IT! Women's Airwave Pants The perfect match for the Airwave ladies' jacket, these trousers are also great summer over-pants to wear on top of your jeans when commuting. The large air mesh panels allow for maximum cooling, but that's not all they're on and off in seconds, thanks to the long inside zippers. Reflective panels at the lower legs ensure great visibility at all times, and the fit is designed specifically for a woman's body. Even more, the Knox Flexiform CE-approved armor is located in height adjustable pockets, allowing you to position the armor just the way you like it. Available in classic black or daring off white. PROTECTION FEATURES Outer shell polyester 600D, PWRshell 500D stretch, PWRshell mesh , polyester rib Visibility laminated reflection at calf Protection Knox Lite CE protection at knees , prepared for TRYONIC Seesoft CE-level 1 type B hip protector insert - version RV01 ( sold separately ) ERGONOMIC FEATURES Fit tour fit , regular Adjustability adjustment straps at waist, adjustment tab at ankles Ventilation ventilation panels at legs Features easy entrance zipper at calf, adjustable protector pockets, short connection zipper, elastic at waistband Pockets slit pockets

These pants were HUGE and FRUMPY. They fit terribly, unless one is supposed to wear them as overpants for thick or heavy-duty pants underneath. While I moved the fit slider to the very end of Large which said 1 size too large, these were 1.5 to 2 sizes too big for me! It was ridiculous and disappointing.
I did appreciate the pants inseam zippers. The pants are nice and substantive while apparently serving hot weather needs (which led me to these).

On the other hand, Dainese (among other brands) seems to fit my proportions pretty well.

I was somewhat skeptical about purchasing these, as reviewers here and elsewhere have commented on their 'lightweight-ness'. However, I was tired of having only heavy-duty leather pants for commuting and often feeling rather dumpy, so I decided to give these a whirl.
They are certainly thinner than your standard leather moto pants. This is great, though, if you would rather wear lightweight leather than mesh for warmer days. And they are super light and small to toss in a backpack and tote around as needed.
FIT, COMFORT
Initially, I purchased the 38. Way too small, I couldn't even get them past my thighs, much less the hips! But I normally wear a US size 2 or 3, with waist 25-26, hips at most 35, inseam about 28, height 5' 3". I exchanged for a size 40, and that fit much better. However, it seems like such a big difference, because they feel a bit baggy -- I can fit pants underneath them! Contrary to the default fitted image for this product, they feel and look quite loose on me. Nevertheless, heed the warnings from others to size up.
The knee pads placement is a little weird, though. I tuck the pants in the boots, and if I have the cuffs closer to the calf than the ankles for comfort and no bunching up, then the knee pads are too high. But if I pull the cuffs down closer to my ankles to get the knee pads closer to mid/low knees, the crotch area feels pulled down when I am in the sitting position.
For weather 65 degrees F or warmer, these pants work great. Anything cooler, and I wear my heavier leather pants. They zip nicely with the Vika leather jacket (which I also wear in a size 40).
I think they should have cost $100 less.
