I try and ride as much as I can on a 110 round trip commute to work, even in colder weather as long as its not below freezing. I already have an electric jacket liner and have used a couple of years. I bought these chap liners after looking at pant liners and heated over-pants to extend my comfort level when riding at 0300 hrs in the morning. I went by the size chart and ordered the appropriate suggested size. Had to send them back and get a different pair as they were way too big. The new ones came and fit great. I've used them a couple of times under my leather over-pants and textile riding pants with great results. They plug directly into my jacket and are easily regulated by my single controller. Great value for the $$ spent and stop the wind and give you added warmth. Not the most stylish item in the store but they are liners and work as advertised. My only negative comment is that I wish they had made the connector plug/lead from the pants a little longer. Its only a couple of inches long and shortens the reach of the connecting pig tail.

I bought these pants specifically for warm weather riding and they’re great. Fit is good, quality is great and the waterproof liner is an additional plus especially with summer storms that pop up. I’ve only used them a couple of times in the rain and they’ve worked great. I wear the mesh pants without the liner right now unless it threatens rain. I ride a lot of interstate so these give me added protection with the comfort of good air flow. I use them over dress pants on days I ride to work (52 miles one way). Full length zippers make them a snap to get on and off in both the pants and liners. I also like the reflective piping on the pants as I do a lot of riding during hours of darkness. Would I recommend these to a friend…absolutely. Would I buy them again……in a heartbeat.

Do these make my butt look fat? That’s what I kind of expected my wife to say when I purchased these pants for her. I was thinking about a rain suit and I thought…..wait, she already has the Olympia jacket with liners, get the pants to match. So, I did. When they arrived, my wife looked a little puzzled and when I told her it was the other half of her rain suit, the first being the jacket she already had, she seemed really genuinely surprised. Her cautious optimism turned into anticipation and excitement as she checked out the pads, the liner, shell and attaching snaps admiring the quality of workmanship. She quickly jumped into the pants and snapped the waist and pulled down the zippers on the legs. My wife is a little over 5 foot and the legs were obviously dragging the ground until she closed the cuffs which got them up off the ground. She is also one that likes to wear shorts in the summer time and has given a little push-back when jeans are suggested. When I explained that she could wear the outer textile layer with shorts and still get air flow she was really impressed addressing an acceptable compromise. We had the opportunity to use the liner to combat the chill the other night returning from a minor league baseball game. It was about 1030 and the temp was probably about 68 degrees. She gets chilly easily and put the liners in the pants to act as a wind breaker layer and was completely comfortable all the way home. So, overall, I’d give these about a 4.8. The quality is good, style is very good for a woman’s motorcycle pant and I think size is pretty true to the size you wear. I know Olympia is doing something right because she has not even once mentioned “do these make my butt look big?” I wouldn’t think this would qualify for cold riding but would probably be acceptable for late spring, early fall wear….not to mention keeping dry in the rain and padded protection on the road.

Shoei Neotec Modular Helmet Evolving on previous designs, Shoei has revamped its modular helmet style with a streamlined and attractively sculpted shape that conveys the feel of freely moving through the outdoors in the Neotec Modular Helmet. Overall shell size is kept compact by incorporating the internal sun visors open/close mechanism inside all ventilation mechanisms are shaped and positioned in such a way as to reduce any possible drag. A redesigned aerodynamic spoiler also helps to cut lift, reducing neck strain on long, cross country rides. In the Shoei Neotec all these features combine to create a premium helmet that excels in appearance, protection, comfort and performance. The Shoei Neotec Helmet's chin bar is connected to the same axis point and mechanism as its shield, minimizing extra parts. This also enables simultaneous closing of the shield with the chin bar, which is then held in place with an easy-open lock release button. The shield lock system offers secure closure or the ability to keep the shield slightly open to allow for increased airflow. With the Shoei Neotec Helmet, Shoei now includes a built-in sun shield, the QSV-1. The visor tucks neatly away beneath a non-intrusive shell built into the helmets liner, and can be lowered with the easy control of a sliding button. Shoei Neotec Helmet Features Face Shield Features Easily operable lever mechanism Anti-fog, anti-scratch, 99 UV blocking New Pinlock-ready CNS-1 faceshield Wider and taller than the CX-1V that it replaces Includes Pinlock insert 3D injection molding process ensures a distortion-free view Improved Ventilation and Aerodynamics Newly designed vortex generators pull air through helmet 276 more airflow than Multitec Added inlets and outlets Vents are flush against helmet to maintain aerodynamics 5-Ply Shock-Absorbing Fiber Shell 3 shell sizes AIM Multi-Composite construction Lightweight yet strong Shell-integrated spoiler reduces lift and drag during high-speed riding Dual EPS Liner Multi-density EPS for optimal protection Two vents funnel fresh air through the EPS liner Dual liner channels route and disperse air evenly throughout the helmet EPS liner in chin bar All new interior Fully removable 3D interior liner Top center pad is removable and washable Improved cheekpad design allows better fit with eyeglasses Included chin curtain can be inserted into the chin bar to reduce turbulence and noise All Neotec Helmets sold in the US have a double D-ring closure Note Due to manufacturer restrictions, Shoei products can only be shipped to addresses within the United States

I picked up this helmet just a little while after it became available so I’ve had it almost a year now. I was looking for something that offered good protection from the elements as or an accident. I ride the D.C. beltway commuting 105 miles to work and back so I wanted a modular to allow quick cooling or the ability to open while stopped or on the move so a full face was out. At the time, I was contemplating the Shoei Neotec helmet or the Schuberth C3. A nearby cycle store, Bobs BMW between Baltimore and D.C. carried both helmets and allowed me to view them both side by side; trying them on for fit and function. After much deliberation and multiple try ons, I decided on the Shoei as it was a little more comfortable for me. After riding with it most of the winter, I can truly say it has allowed me to ride much longer into the winter season, providing more than adequate protection from the cold, even at 65 mph and 35 degree temps. I really was surprised at the way it functioned in a torrential downpour also. The chin curtain keeps out all of the wind noise and cold air. The drop down sun visor is a very nice feature and easily manipulated using the slide/lever on the left. The pinlock lens works very well at keeping the face shield fog free. Now, if I could only do that with my glasses. Ventilation is the only thing I could gripe about….maybe. I wish there was a little more air flow through the helmet, but then if I want more, I can crack the visor. Now that its become warmer, I don’t wear it quite so much, opting for a half helmet but if its going to rain….hard, its on my head or in the tour pac. I’d buy this again in a heartbeat but next time I’ll get it from Revzilla.

I got this jacket to replace my Tour Master Air Intake Jacket I purchased back in 2010. While the Tour Master was a good jacket, it was still a little warm on the D.C. Beltway in mid July….besides the blue color i had didn’t match my new bile (yellow and black Harley Ultra Classic Limited). I already have an Olympia one piece suit bought years ago, I use during the fall and early winter so I was familiar with the product line and quality of workmanship. Plus, I had purchased an Olympia Air Glide 3 last year (2012) for my wife, which she absolutely loves. So, based on the above factors, I took the plunge and got an Olympia Airglide 4 Jacket. I am thoroughly pleased with the jacket in every way. The same quality of workmanship prevails in this product as the previous Olympia motorcycle clothing line products. Fit is good and similar to other products although I wish it was just a tad longer as I’m one of those that have a long torso although I’m only six foot. I have a bit of a belly too, so in its defense that might be part of the problem. However, when riding, it’s a good match to the Olympia Airglide 3 over pants I purchased a couple of days after receipt of the jacket, but that’s another review. I didn’t need to engage a service professional as the videos cover a lot of questions you may have. Items left Revzilla or Olympia the next day (I ordered the late) and were at my door a couple of days later. They truly are number one in sending stuff on its way to the customer. So, in summary I’d give “bang for the buck” a high 4.8; “style” a 4.9; “protection and durability” a 4.8; “air flow” a 4.9; “features” a 4.8; and I would say the “fit” is pretty much normal and true to size. Would I recommend this product? Yes, definitely as it offers a wide variety of options for various riding conditions. With this jacket, combined with the over pants and a heated liner, I’ll be able to ride all but those days that are below 32 degrees and could then too except for fear of black ice. Heck, because of the rainproof liners, i might be able to leave my HD raingear at home and leave more room in the bags. the liners take up very little space. Guys at Revzilla are the best, can't go wrong with any of their products they offer. No risk 100% customer satisfaction, whats not to like.

I bought this jacket for my wife to use when she accompanies me, when we run trips into later evening hours in the spring. My wife gets cold easily while on the bike and the thinsulate liner really helps in the chilly mornings and evenings in the spring. The windbreaker liner offers protection in the summer for those times after the sun goes down and it provides a barrier to help keep your dry during those pesky unpredicted showers. The outer shell provides good airflow and protection at the same time. The ability to add or take off a layer as it’s needed is a great feature. The fitment and style is great and seems true to sizing provided. The little bit longer cut keeps the jacket from riding up and the armor protection is really quite comfortable. My wife, although only wearing it a couple of times, has had nothing but good things to say about it. I recommend it for a good all around three season jacket you can pack easily and be prepared for almost any weather or condition.
