 Amanet Red Light Changer
Amanet Red Light Changer
The end to excessive waiting at Red Lights. When mounted at the bottom of the motorcycle, the RLC-40, sends out a strong magnetic flux field, causing the sensor to see the motorcycle as a large steel vehicle, inducing a signal in the pavement sensor loops, thereby triggering the traffic light to turn green. Works with and can be Installed on all Motorcycles Ends Excessive Waiting at Red Lights Legal in all States and Countries Uses No Power Comes with Powerful Adhesive Backing for Easy Installation How does it work The RLC-40 is a specially designed device which uses an extremely strong, patented Neodymium-Boron-Iron magnet to make a motorcycle visible to the traffic-sensor loops imbedded in the pavement at most traffic light intersections. These wire loops act like metal detectors and are designed to sense the metallic mass in an approaching vehicle, and to signal the traffic light to change from red to green, after a short delay. Unfortunately, most motorcycles don't have enough metal to set off the sensors, so the light doesn't see the motorcycle waiting at the red light. Is the RLC-40 Red Light Changer legal Yes, in all states. That's because this is a passive device, which means that it changes a light only when it fails to detect the presence of a motorcycle. It is not a MIRT device, to be used only by emergency vehicles. MIRT devices are not legal for the public to use. However, the RLC-40 is also currently being used by many Police Departments for their motorcycles. Will the RLC-40 Red Light Changer fit my motorcycle Yes, it will fit any motorcycle. It's easily mounted with a special industrial adhesive disc, which will bond with the mounting surface. It can even be mounted to bicycles and autos, as long as there's a flat, clean 1-inch diameter surface, aiming at the pavement.

I bought one of these and it worked great only if I followed the instructions and stopped directly over the wire in the road. I was impressed so I ordered another for my identical 2011 Harley Sportster. Before installing it, I tried stopping over the wire in the road. Guess what? changed the light every time without using the device! Maybe a smaller bike (mine each weigh about 550 pounds) would benefit. Save your $20--just stop directly oner the road wire as required even with this device.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I ordered a large based upon all the data--it was way too small so I ordered an extra-large. It, too, is too small unless both linings are removed. I'm 6', 200# with a small frame. It's tight on the arms and waist.
Nice looking, well made.
RevZilla's return policy worked just fine.
Yes, I recommend this product.

By every measure I needed a large--wrong.
Had to return and get extra-large and they're still a bit tight. I don't have large fingers (diameter) so if you do be sure to go up a couple sizes. I've worn them for about 200 miles on several 70+ degree days and been comfortable. Naturally when I had to return didn't get any hassle from Revzilla--good place to buy.
Yes, I recommend this product.

The integrated "sunglasses" work very well and can be engaged without stopping. I haven't used the ventilation yet and my helmet is white so I haven't experienced heat gain. It's very comfortable (actually, the first helmet I've ever owned). You can pay about $200 at the Harley store and get the same helmet with the Harley logo (in black) or save $75 and buy from RevZilla. RevZilla's service and pricing rock!
Yes, I recommend this product.
