 Kabuto Ibuki Helmet
Kabuto Ibuki Helmet
Kabuto Ibuki Helmet Finally, a modular that is as light as a full face helmet. In fact, Kabutos ACT EVO R composite shell technology makes the Ibuki lighter than the Kabuto FF5V racing helmet. The Max Vision Pinlock fog-free shield has an incredible field of view, giving the Ibuki a very open feel even when the shield is closed. Japanese engineering gives it a level of refinement not found in other modular helmets. An internal sunshade and Coolmax interior keeps you comfortable while reflective inserts on the rear of the helmet keep you safe. Features: Advanced Composite Technology (ACT) shell is a combination of hyper glass fiber and high-strength organic fiber Dual density EPS liner 2 shell sizes (XS-MD, LG-2XL) Wake stabilizer greatly reduces buffeting Detachable chin curtain CM-1 quick change shield system Pinlock-ready face shield and lens insert included Chin and head vents Micro-lock ratchet chin strap Eyeglass-friendly cheek pads Fully removable, washable, and interchangeable Coolmax interior Exceeds DOT & ECE standards Note : 2XL and 3XL are DOT only.

I only have about 50 miles on this helmet in 38 degree temps. Have not tried the pin lock lense yet. I ordered a XL and it fits my head really good. I ride a V Strom 650 with an extended windshield on it. The helmet it replaced was a G Max Modular. The Ibuki fits much better, much lighter, much quieter. So far I like the way the front lifts up and the type of snap on the strap. Just takes a little getting used to. Just wore a neck scarf and it seemed to be warm enough. I will do a longer review later as I am planning on a trip out west early summer. Love the color. Two years ago I was in a bad accident and the other driver that pulled out in front of me said he did not see me. Well now with the bright yellow helmet and the bright yellow Olympia jacket and daytime led lights on my bike there should be no problems with someone seeing me.

These are replacing a simple leather pair of gloves that I have used for 20 years and these seem like they will be just as good. Size seems correct except the fingers are just a tad long but I am sure they will mold to my hands through use as the others did.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I have only used this jacket for a short time, but it seems very comfortable with or without the liner. I like all of the features, the biggest problem I will probably have is trying to find what pocket I put something in. This jacket will get a real test late summer when I do a 3 week tour of Norway and surrounding countries. I will write another review at that time.
Great service from Revzilla. Getting ready to purchase some other items.
Yes, I recommend this product.
