I have a BMW GS with "permanently" mounted side cases and wanted removable expansion storage with backrest functionality for occasional 2-up touring. The Givi brand has a name for quality and functionality, and this case met my needs for a low cost, easily removable top-case. I also wanted simple styling that blended with the black bike.
Storage capacity is great. On and off of the case couldn't be easier. The latching mechanism/case release are combined, but once understood both are a one hand operation. A carrying handle makes for easing toting off the bike.

Pros
I'm 6'1" with 42" chest and 35" sleeves. Size large fits well, and sleeves are perfect length. Jacket fits just snugly enough.
Quality looks top notch, as expected from Rev'it. The leather patches are well located and blend with the rest of the jacket.
Protection is good, but I upgraded back protection, which probably reduces ventilation somewhat.
Cons: none
Comments;
Pockets are 2, and limited - expected for this style jacket, but needs to be kept in mind.
Wore outbound with hydratex liner from another jacket at 60F. Would have been chilly otherwise. Return ride up to lower 90s - good ventilation.

Jacket fits well under Rev-It Sand Jacket, without liners on 60 degree day, with option for heat as day cools; and with liner to 32 degree (and probably lower).
I use the dual Gerbing controller, and heat is immediate, and easily controllable.
Air flow is minimal as expected, safety protection is minimal as expected.
Collar affords good & comfortable protection. Wiring seems secure (good strain relief), good (not excessive) length of cables), clean way to tuck cables away when not in use.
