i've ridden with Alpinestars and Racer High End gloves and was looking for a good quality replacement after crashing my Racer gloves. apparently for $190 Racer gloves, the finger tips have externally sewn seams, which surprised me because the stitching gets burned off while sliding on the tarmac. You would think more expensive gloves would be sewn like a leather suit right? Especially if they are kangaroo leather (which is the thinnest and most abrasion resistant - to the prev reviewer, you cant judge the protective quality of leather based on its thickness).
These Corse GT gloves, unlike some of the other Rev'It gloves are inversely stitched. The palm reinforcement and superfabric sliders really were a good feature, after having the fabric areas of my A* and Racer gloves tear up from just normal throttle application!
I've read lots of ppl say stuff about these gloves running small or large or whatever. It's not true. I fit very squarely into a medium sized Alpinestars glove, as the same into a medium Rev'It Corse GT glove. it takes a little breaking in, but it's not super stiff. Not bulky like cowhide in your palm either.
Ring and pinky fingers not stitched together for hyperextension protection, and absolutely no vents. Those are the only downsides. Otherwise, great gloves, with great securing features in the gauntlet and floating knuckle feature. oh - one last thing - the wrist velcro strap is a little short.
Yes, I recommend this product.
