Great piece of protection in my opinion. Just watched a friend go over the handle bars this weekend and land right on his head! Fortunately he was also wearing a Leatt brace. He popped back up but without the brace he would have been pretty messed up.
i love mine and never ride without it. i totally forget i'm wearing it too. sizing its very precise so make sure you measure yourself well if you're in between sizes

Just like the title says... I thing they are great pads. I forget I have them on when riding and have no issues elbowing giant branches out of the way when riding the trails.
I'm a pretty skinny guy and I'm 5'8" 150lbs. I wear size S/M and they are more of an S than an M. There are 3 straps on them and a sleeve so once you get the fit down they are very comfortable

Just got these. Rode with them twice. I have a 30" inseam and these cover almost my entire leg. They go 3/4 of the way up my thigh! I thought this was going to make them extremely hot. Instead, the thin upper part keeps you pretty cool even on hotter days and they didn't itch or scratch

Very very comfortable piece of protection. I am 5'8" and weigh 150 lbs with and have a 37.5" chest. I wear size S/M and it fits me great. If you are on the skinnier side I would consider a smaller size than what the sizing says. I also wear it with a leatt neck brace and they work perfectly together. I forget I'm wearing them. The construction is well done and the inside does not scratch or itch when wearing it directly on the skin.

For what these cost I would say they are an excellent deal. The sizing is seems really good too. I'm a bit of a skinny guy and they fit great. I put them on and forget them. They do their job pretty well too. I've taken countless logs and thick branches off of them and they didn't even scratch! Also, the way the straps can be adjusted is really convenient. Adjust it once and and then just use the locking snaps

I have to say these shoes were worth every penny. I use these riding around NYC and they are perfect. They look, feel, and fit great. I am a size 41 euro and my foot fits perfectly in a 41. Might fit a slightly narrow foot better (that's what I have). The construction is very very good and I don't see these things falling apart anytime soon. The protection is not that of a full race boot but there is a cup on the ankle, and protection on the toe and heel that I would definitely rather have than not have. The toe protection is also nice when shifting up gears. Finally, these things feel like normal sneakers. When I get done riding I usually just keep them on for the rest of the day because I literally forget that I have a "riding" shoe on. I would recommend these to anyone who wants a safer shoe that looks nothing like a riding boot to ride the streets on.
And as usual, Revzilla was super fast getting them to me for free. They actually came a day early.

This is a great piece of protection! I took a couple of hard hits with mine last season and I'm glad to have this. I'm pretty sure it saved my shoulder from being dislocated riding in the trails.
I'm 5'8'" and weight 150 lbs. I pretty skinny. I wear a size small and that even is slightly roomy. It is still very comfortable and you forget it's on as soon as you get rolling. I wear it with under my jersey. The is nice and wide too so it covers a lot.

Are these shoes slip proof?
By slip proof I'm assuming that you mean the oil stains you find on the ground at toll booths. I have only gone through 1 since I got the shoes. Everything went well but to tell you the truth I wasn't thinking about it. However, I have noticed that they do not slip on surfaces where most shoes would. This usually happens in the garage where there is some kind of glossy paint and all sorts or liquids. So I would say that if they're good in the garage they should have no problem on asphalt no matter what is on it.
