I bought a single unit and paired it easily with a friend's unit. We rode from NYC to Morgan Hill CA in 11 days and used our SENAs frequently. Instead of wild gesticulations or horn honking to communicate, we just touched the jog dial and... talked! Is very helpful also for listening to Garmin Zumo GPS directions. My buddy used his SENA to listen to music on his iPod Nano. I also purchased a cord to plug unit into my BMW auxiliary outlet but never needed it; nightly charging the unit in motel was sufficiently for all-day use. Installation was initially intimidating for my Arai but on a SUNDAY, Eric Mansky of Revzilla responded BY EMAIL within 30 minutes to my query - even including a PHOTO to help me along (folks, THAT is the Revilla difference: the NORDSTROM of motorcycle retailing). All in all, SENA was well worth the investment. Am no very curious about the even newer model that is succeeding this model. - SC, NYC

This is a must-have if taking your SENA unit internationally or if, like me, you wish to recharge while USB-to-AC is being monopolized by the smartphone charging needs. Are no diagrams included so took a moment to figure out how to slip a prong plate onto the charger. It does not just slide in! You angle it slightly then slide/snap into place. Even more difficult is releasing it... Haven't succeeded there yet but we'll cross that bridge... But no regrets.

I went back and forth on what size to get. What settled that question was I decided to get the most waterproof model with roll-top closure. I think they make one size larger but this seems about as large a pack (and as much stuff) as one would want on your back; need more space - get a top box or duffell. R30 is well made, clearly well thought-out by people who are motorcyclists. Harness is amazing - you may forget you have it on. Interior of main compartment is white so is easy to see inside. Whichever capacity suits you, a Kriega is a must-have.

There are aftermarket solutions to mounting a Givi top case but best way to go is with a Givi-brand rack. But be sure to first do your homework re: rear load capacity. I had visions of a 55 liter Monokey case. Revzilla sourced a rare rack for my R1200ST. Rack was described as accepting only MonoLOCK cases (the smaller kind) - that's because my model BMW is only rated to carry about 25lbs off the tail. Bottom line is not all Givi racks are the same - they don't accept all cases. Know what you need and get exactly that. I'm ahppy with my rack's ease of installation and finish; not thrilled at the $140 price (!). But I'm mostly happy that I won't be overloading my bike!

Got a Medium - perfect size for laying cross-wise. Love the hi-viz yellow. Would be nice if an optional plastic sheet could be offered to give it a rigid floor. Can't really comment on durability as I just got this but looks and feels like a quality product; am fully confident of waterproofness. Only 4 stars for ease of install as the two straps seemed a tad short. Tip: watch Wolfman's Youtube videos on how to secure the duffel - very helpful.

Cruz Tools Road Tech BMW Tool Kit BMW motorcycles are legendary for innovation, and their choice of fasteners are no exception. Female Torx fasteners are commonplace, and some models even use rare male Torx screws. Add special wrench and hex key needs, and it becomes clear that a unique tool kit is called for. They have exceeded these needs with the new RoadTech B1 for BMWs, which packs top grade tools and other roadside items into a sturdy roll-up pouch. Includes Combination wrenches (8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 13mm) E10 x E12 Torx box 8 adjustable wrench Mini ratchet 2 extension Sockets (8mm, 10mm, 13mm, E8 Torx) Hex keys (3mm-6mm, 8mm) Torx keys (T20, T25, T30, T40, T45, T50) 6-in-1 screwdriver with bits 22mm hex adapter Locking pliers Electrical tape Cable ties Mechanics wire Threadlocker Tire pressure gauge 3.5 x 9.5 roll-up polyester pouch

A basic set of necessaries that's $10 cheaper than identical kit sold thru Aerostich; you'll need to supplement this with tire repair, other R-bike tools (like for removing the spark plug cover) - and a better flashlight! Extras are low-rent afterthoughts. A tiny roll of electrical tape and an LED flashlight with painfully obvious "made-in-China" quality. The ON-OFF button wouldn't work - but I had to exchange the entire tool set. The replacement's ON-OFF worked fine, but those batteries were dead! So... I swapped good batteries from first set to the new flashlight and packed the bad f'light and dead batteries with Toolkit #1 back to RevZilla.Everything's fine now but truth is - I'm still shopping a better flashlight so am budgeting extra $$.
