I went back and forth on what size to get. What settled that question was I decided to get the most waterproof model with roll-top closure. I think they make one size larger but this seems about as large a pack (and as much stuff) as one would want on your back; need more space - get a top box or duffell. R30 is well made, clearly well thought-out by people who are motorcyclists. Harness is amazing - you may forget you have it on. Interior of main compartment is white so is easy to see inside. Whichever capacity suits you, a Kriega is a must-have.
Yes, I recommend this product.

There are aftermarket solutions to mounting a Givi top case but best way to go is with a Givi-brand rack. But be sure to first do your homework re: rear load capacity. I had visions of a 55 liter Monokey case. Revzilla sourced a rare rack for my R1200ST. Rack was described as accepting only MonoLOCK cases (the smaller kind) - that's because my model BMW is only rated to carry about 25lbs off the tail. Bottom line is not all Givi racks are the same - they don't accept all cases. Know what you need and get exactly that. I'm ahppy with my rack's ease of installation and finish; not thrilled at the $140 price (!). But I'm mostly happy that I won't be overloading my bike!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Wolfman Expedition Dry Duffel Bag Wolfman went all out on these duffels and came up with a great series of roll-top, 100 waterproof bags, designed specifically for motorcycle use. Got a Medium - perfect size for laying cross-wise. Love the hi-viz yellow. Would be nice if an optional plastic sheet could be offered to give it a rigid floor. Can't really comment on durability as I just got this but looks and feels like a quality product; am fully confident of waterproofness. Only 4 stars for ease of install as the two straps seemed a tad short. Tip: watch Wolfman's Youtube videos on how to secure the duffel - very helpful.

A basic set of necessaries that's $10 cheaper than identical kit sold thru Aerostich; you'll need to supplement this with tire repair, other R-bike tools (like for removing the spark plug cover) - and a better flashlight! Extras are low-rent afterthoughts. A tiny roll of electrical tape and an LED flashlight with painfully obvious "made-in-China" quality. The ON-OFF button wouldn't work - but I had to exchange the entire tool set. The replacement's ON-OFF worked fine, but those batteries were dead! So... I swapped good batteries from first set to the new flashlight and packed the bad f'light and dead batteries with Toolkit #1 back to RevZilla.Everything's fine now but truth is - I'm still shopping a better flashlight so am budgeting extra $$.
