Got these gloves to replace my BMW gloves, which have been fading in the sun (I was on my 3rd pair - BMW replaced the first one, I just purchased a new pair after that one faded.)
My BMW gloves were a size 9, and (after break-in) were a bit on the 'loose' side. The Apollo pair is also a size 9 and a bit on the snug side out of the box - not uncomfortable, but definitely much more snug than the BMWs. I am sure they'll loosen up a bit with wear, and should fit very well at that time.
As for the top strap, yes it is a bit short, and come come out of its guide if not careful. By changing the way I put the gloves on, I manage to keep it threaded now, so that is not a problem for me.
The hard protections are really nicely done. Hope I'll never need it, but good to have it if it ever became necessary.
I definitely can recommend these gloves.
