We ordered the Q2 because we felt it was a cheaper alternative to the more expensive G4. Because my Bell helmet is curved along the edges, installation was a bear. I had a hard time getting the clamps to stay put. I didn't want to use the double-sided tape. Learning to use the features is easy, and the controls are large enough they are simple to use even with gloves on. When I get up to speed, I have a hard time trying to understand what my boyfriend is saying. We haven't figured out yet if an adjustment needs to be made to his G4, or if it's the reception of my Q2. After I told fellow riders we only paid $149 for my Q2, a few with G4's said they were impressed with the price and wondered why they didn't get the cheaper one.
Yes, I recommend this product.
