You will need to go up 1 size to fit.Have a 700XL that fits perfect..requires a XXL in the 1000.The pump system is very functional and helps quiet the noise.Love that flip down sun visor..it really helps when you get off work at 0700 and the sun rise is painted on the yellow line.Anti fog on the shield is the best in the industry. Excellent touring lid !

The air flow is great.The shield lever is very welcomed while sitting still or moving.Can't comment on cold weather fogging.I am no longer punch drunk from buffetting and thats the best feature for me.My previous lids made me fill like a 3 legged hamster in a square wheel.

I'm very confused by the size chart. I'm planning to buy the Mens Airglide Pants and my true waist is 43". However, my jeans waist size is 36. Now which is the size presented in the size chart? What size shuold I buy for the pants?

Does the Altrider crashbars for the F650GS fit the F800GS as well?
Altrider's website seems to have two pages, one for the 650 and one for the 800. The pictures look the same to me and I don't see on revzilla's site that it mentions the 800.

What size should I get? XL or XXL?
I'm 6'4", 210 lbs. My height has me inclined to choose the XXL, but my weight makes me want to get the XL. What size would you recommend?
They are "true to size" and you will have ample room in eather thru the body.Go to their web site and check for your sleeve length...at 6/4 I would go for the XXL.

does the Shoei Hornet helmet fit a round head?
I just tried the Arai XD3 in an XL and it was much too narrow for my head. I have a round to earth shaped head and I wear an Arai Ram III helmet in an XL which fits very comfortably. I was wondering if the Shoei Hornet in an XL or 2XL fit a round head that won't fit into an Arai XD3.
Yes it does.The shoei XL fits my bowling ball head just fine.

Pro...You like the stealth look, no need to wax. Con...bug juice is harder to clean vs a waxed slick surface.

How dark is the dark tint? Live in the Pacific NW and it's not always that sunny plus there's lot of shades from trees.
Want to know if this is to dark for the overcast skies and rides with lotes of shades from trees. Can you see the road clearly as to avoid pot holes, bump and other obstacles? I'm concern that the road won't be seen as clearly as a clear lense.
RC..the dark smoke appears black from exterior but you can see as though your wearing med sunglasses.Its safe even if your caught out after dark.I didn't believe that until I tried it.

What is a pinlock system ?

The pin lock is an additional smaller ad-on internal shield that mounts on two pins.It is designed to create an air space between the cold exterior shield temp and warm excelations thereby minimizing interior fogging.
