These pants are amazing. I've worn them in the heat of Texas summer when it's 100+ outside, and I've worn them as cold as 35 in Iowa. The name Flex is apt; they are probably the most versatile pants I can imagine.
Pros
- The fit is exactly as described.
- The armor seems tough, is adjustable, and sits in place.
- The two liners allow them to be worn in rain and cold.
- The zippers along the legs make putting boots on and taking them off a cinch.
- When exposed, the mesh panels breathe really well in the heat of summer. It honestly feels like I'm wearing shorts when I'm moving.
Cons:
I honestly struggle to think of a single complaint. They weren't free, so there's that. Maybe a few more pockets might be nice (à la cargo pants perhaps), but I haven't found it necessary as I usually carry a backpack.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Can these be worn with "in" style boots?

Basically, just wondering if I can wear these pants over some of the "in" style boots, i.e. over the top of the boot.
I wear the pants over my Alpinestar S-MX 5 boots. With both liners in, it might be a tight fit, but I bet they'd work.
