If you liked the XD3, you will love this helmet! Light, quiet, great visibility, and now pretty good air flow!

I like these knee pads over armor in my riding pants because these will be where they are supposed to be in a crash. They are comfortable to wear and walk in. I can now travel with two pairs of riding pants, both with the knee armor removed, which allows them to pack much smaller, and I still have knee protection!

Badlands Pro Jacket and pants are just what I have been looking for for the past 30 + years. Waterproof gear that I can wear year round. I no longer carry rain gear when touring in this suit. I have used this in temps ranging from low 30s to 110F. Completely satisfied! I travel cross country a lot so I see a lot of different weather on a given trip. This gear handles it all in stride. I also get lots of questions and favorable comments from strangers so it must look good as well.

Excellent touring/adv gear. Warm with the vents closed, vents very well with vents open. Water proof!

I have ridden hours in heavy rain and stayed warm and dry. This suit is warmer than my Rally Pro 2 with the liners installed, and a lot warmer in cold rain. It vents a lot better than my Rally Pro 2 with the vents open. I have the gray Badlands Pro, and was fine with the vents closed, wet helmet liner (LDC) and neck wrap at 110 F. Add a Klim Inversion Jacket and balaclava and I am good down to the mid 40s. This is the riding gear of my dreams! This is serious heavy duty gear, so it is not as soft as my Rally Pro 2, and takes a while to break in. I am 170#, 5' 8" athletic build. Size large is perfect for me, allowing room to layer when the temps drop.

Is a med the best option for me? 5' 9", 175 lbs, 41.5 " chest....

I am concerned I will be swimming in a large, but that a med will be tight through the shoulders or around the arm pits. I am interested enough in this jacket to order the medium to try it out, even if i end up eating shipping to return it.. I live in MI..... Love your videos!
