 Wolfman Rocky Mountain Saddlebags
Wolfman Rocky Mountain Saddlebags
Wolfman Rocky Mountain Saddle Bags To create the Rocky Mountain Saddle Bags, Wolfman used their popular Expedition Saddle Bags as a template and utilized the same mounting and compression system. With a capacity of 32 liters each, the Rocky Mountain Bags are cone shaped (wider at the top than bottom) to make packing them easier. Internal stiffeners are held in place with hook and loop and work to compress and secure the load (to Wolfman or other side racks) which make the bags become almost ridged and firm, not floppy. The bags are sewn in-house by Wolfman and utilize their own custom vinyl-coated 1680 denier ballistics nylon fabric. They have a 35oz. vinyl bottom to compliment 22oz. vinyl back and front accents. Because the bags are sewn and not 100 waterproof, Wolfman includes their Yellow 200D PU-coated and seam taped waterproof liners. The liners are custom fit to make them easy in and out, while keeping contents dry. Features 32 liter capacity (with about 3 liters of float) Heavy duty 1680 denier custom vinyl coated ballistic nylon 35oz vinyl bottom 22oz vinyl back, front mounts and removable back pad Mounts to Wolfman or other side racks Ultra secure 6 point mounting system per bag using heavy duty 1 metal cam buckles Carry Handle Waterproof liner External D-rings for more versatility or for adding additional bags or fuel bottle holsters Stay-put internal stiffeners Reflective striping runs horizontally from front to back Sold as a pair

Installed these on my GSA. They hold more than the BMW hard bags, and weigh close to 20 lbs less! Security could be an issue, but I am not too concerned. I can pull the liners out and bring the gear in the room or tent at night. Can also pull the bags quite easily. Love them!

I carry this on cross country trips with a jersey for serious enduro roading. Use D3o armor from my jacket which makes this pack up small! I ride a R1200 GSA.

I like these knee pads over armor in my riding pants because these will be where they are supposed to be in a crash. They are comfortable to wear and walk in. I can now travel with two pairs of riding pants, both with the knee armor removed, which allows them to pack much smaller, and I still have knee protection!

Badlands Pro Jacket and pants are just what I have been looking for for the past 30 + years. Waterproof gear that I can wear year round. I no longer carry rain gear when touring in this suit. I have used this in temps ranging from low 30s to 110F. Completely satisfied! I travel cross country a lot so I see a lot of different weather on a given trip. This gear handles it all in stride. I also get lots of questions and favorable comments from strangers so it must look good as well.

I have ridden hours in heavy rain and stayed warm and dry. This suit is warmer than my Rally Pro 2 with the liners installed, and a lot warmer in cold rain. It vents a lot better than my Rally Pro 2 with the vents open. I have the gray Badlands Pro, and was fine with the vents closed, wet helmet liner (LDC) and neck wrap at 110 F. Add a Klim Inversion Jacket and balaclava and I am good down to the mid 40s. This is the riding gear of my dreams! This is serious heavy duty gear, so it is not as soft as my Rally Pro 2, and takes a while to break in. I am 170#, 5' 8" athletic build. Size large is perfect for me, allowing room to layer when the temps drop.
