Nolan N91 Helmet Nolan N91 is the new full-face modular helmet by Nolan and is an evolution of the best-selling N90. The product of the most up-to-date studies on design and comfort, the N91 features a modern and styled look, captivating color combinations and painstaking attention to details to produce a comfortable, sophisticated helmet, suitable for touring and urban riding alike. The Nolan N91 is equipped with the Microlock2 (patent pending) double lever retention system. This system consists of a thermoplastic ergonomic opening lever, and of a second aluminum toothed and holding lever. The toothed lever releases the micrometric strip, thus the chin strap can only be opened with a very broad rotation of the opening lever. This device minimizes the possibility of unintentional opening of the retention system. Features Polycarbonate shell VPS (Vision Protection System) short dark shield mounted on the inside of the shell provides real eye protection when used independently from the clear shield Quick-release and multi-position anti-scratch shield accepts Pinlock antifog insert (included) Clear Pinlock faceshield and lens included Adjustable chin and top vents plus air flow rear extraction Removable and washable Clima Comfort interior lining and cheekpads with antibacterial treatment Includes chin curtain Dual action chinbar release for safety Microlock2 (patent pending) double lever retention system Ready for NCOM Communication System DOT Approved

I have the predecessor to this helmet, the N90 in an XL that fits great. I like the old helmet fine but it is showing some age and I hoped to replace it with this one; I couldn't even close the XL, so I exchanged it for a 2XL; I can close the 2XL but cannot buckle it and my chin sticks out beyond the chin bar. Nolan makes a quality product but apparently their sizing has changed completely. I would really love to be able to buy this helmet...3XL is not available. I highly recommend this helmet if it will fit you.

I use these over jeans on almost every ride; I also have a pair of the non-mesh hooligan overpants that I use in cooler weather, but honestly you can do just as well with the mesh over pants and some cheapo rain paints over them, BUT it does get a little difficult to move around with 3 pairs of pants on... I honestly think the airflow could be a little better, but is leagues ahead of the non-mesh pant as you would anticipate, and its worth it for me to have the added protection over jeans. Considering the price compared to the bigger brands, these can't be beat.
I do have to comment that the overpants are a little too baggy - I understand its hard to make a pair of pants to fit over another pair of pants and have them NOT be baggy, but I think they could've done a litttle better, definitely not talking hipster style.
Also, the attempt to make it possible to put these on over boots is pretty well worthless, they just made the cuff area even more baggy, and I still cant really put them on over boots. If you want that feature, you really need a pant that unzips all the way up to the knee. I'd still recommend these pants though, there's nothing better at this price point in my opinion.
