Safety

I have a bleeding disorder which causes my joints to hurt and be injury prone and am looking for some apparel that really will provide the best impact protection in the event of a crash. I ride a GS1200, I need a jacket and pants for a fairly broad 3 season, predominately road with some non-paved. I looked at some of the closesout Shift summer jackets, and some pricier things, also the padded shorts and padded undersuits. Seeing these different items in person would be best, but asking questions is second best. If possible, I would love to hear which items would be recommended in the whole price spectrum. I don't want to get low low end but I probably won't be forking over Klim prices either. Help!! and thanks in advance if you are able to answer this question.
