 Bell Revolver Helmet - Solid
Bell Revolver Helmet - Solid
Bell Revolver Helmet - Solid Convenience meets confidence with Bells all-new Revolver modular helmet. By harnessing the design horsepower of the marquee Bell Star and the extensive RD know-how of Bells Santa Cruz, Calif. engineering team, weve made a flip-up thats as beautiful as it is functional. One look and its easy to see the family resemblancethe new school shaping and contours that are the signature of the Star (as well as the value-minded Vortex and new mid-line RS-1) are clearly evident and functional in the Revolver. Like its siblings, the Revolver features Bells Velocity Flow Ventilation system to usher cooling air through the helmet. The systems use of precisely-placed flow separator combined with its truncated shape make for an inherently stable aerodynamic signature. The Revolver includes modular-specific features like the integrated internal Sun Shadea short, dark shield independent of the main shieldwhich drops down with the flick of a lever to fight bright sunlight. A robust, easy-to-actuate button opens the Revolvers mechanism allowing the chinbar to flip up. The helmet also uses the worlds quickest, easiest-to-use shield changing systemBells ClickReleaseallowing the option of more than a dozen tints, including the astounding Transitions SOLFX photochromic shield. Other features include comfy Contour Cut Cheekpads, a removable washable comfort liner, Bells Magnefusion strap keeper which replaces the often hard-to-locate strap snap with an elegant magnetic solution that easily engages and secures the strap end. Features Industrys 1st Modular Helmet With Function and Performance All in One Internal Sun Shade for On the Fly Protection Velocity Flow Ventilation Super Stable Aerodynamic Signature Click Release Shield Mechanism Nutra Fog II Anti Fog Coating Lightweight Polycarb Alloy Shell Contour Cut Cheekpads Removable/Washable Comfort Liner Antibacterial Liner Magnafusion Strap Keeper Five-year Warranty Comes with clear faceshield

This helmet is very round however considering the features it has it is well worth it! Little bit too breezy with the vents closed, can get cold at night. Still, great value! A good buy!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Bell Custom 500 Helmet In tribute to their founder, Roy Richter, Bell has released a line of helmets based on Richter's 500 design. Hailed by Bell as ground zero for the modern motorsport helmet there is no doubt that this original design formed by Richter himself in 1954 has given rise to an industry. The design is a classic that has been updated with modern protective technology by Bell engineers. By combining a custom fiberglass layup with a specially designed EPS foam layer, Bell engineers were able to craft a helmet that is at once light weight, narrow in profile, and DOT-compliant. The Custom 500 series comes in a variety of styles inspired by custom graphics which suit riders from all points along the style spectrum from understated to flash. These helmets rock with looks that are as good as their performance. Features Custom fiberglass shell Custom-quilted liner Chrome trim (graphic dependent) Integrated snaps for aftermarket shields and visors Padded chin strap with D-ring closure and strap keeper Five-year warranty Certification DOT Weight 880g

hi. i am an Australian postal worker, my helmet must be as a approved, is dos the same rating?karin

postiemamma7,
I am from Melbourne, my friends and I have bought ALL of our gear from RevZilla, including helmets.
The U.S 'Dot' rating is not approved here so "legally" you shouldn't use one. On the other hand I have never heard of anyone being caught and if it is safety you are worried about, I figure if a product passes American standards then it will pass (or close enough to) Aus. standards. I have bought a Bell Revolver, Modular helmet and it looks sturdy enough to me :-)
