Bell Star Helmet The feature packed Star is equipped with Bells exclusive Velocity Flow Ventilation system with FlowAdjust, a revolutionary airflow management system that literally pulls air through the helmet with a natural flow engine, keeping the riders head cool and dry. Finish it off with the Stars super stable aerodynamic signature that eliminates buffeting and lift and you have a helmet truly worthy of its heavenly moniker. Clear shield included. Bell Star Helmet Opinion The Bell Star Helmet certainly sits atop the Bell heap with regard to aggressive track level functionality and light weight. We found the fit to be intermediate oval and about a half size large compared to the RS-1 from Bell. The features of the Bell Star Helmet are very complete and it is always nice to have a Photochromic option to be added from a shield standpoint. The Star is going to most likely be too aggressive for any type of street riding other than spirited sportbiking. The wing and vent configuration are fully optimized for max performance in the tuck position.

I was a little eceptical about the darkness of the shield but after three weeks or so i cant be happier, i use it even at night when going to work, yes you heard me right, at night time, and trust me i wont say this if wasn't truth, i can see with no problems at all and the one i got is the darkest you can get as you can see in my pics, so it work perfect for me because i don't have change shields all the time or in the old case wear shades under the lid, i 100% recommend this product.

Every time i buy something i always do a lot of research and this item was not an exception, the size is money, I'm 5'7", 183 pounds and got a medium, perfect fit for me, the air flow is excellent just what i need because i leave in Sin City as you know triple digits in summer time, the materials are great quality and it's light weight, the collar can get a little uncomfy with the sip all the way up, but that it's probably part of the brake in process and last but not least i wish Alstrs. it throws at least a thin thermal liner to the mix in the future. that's why i gave it 4 starts. thanks

What has changed between the 2009, 2010, and 2011 Bell Star helmet?
I have a 2009 but want a new lid. If there's been some changed I might want another Star
I can tell for shore that the 2010 model they improve the fit of the helmet, if you have a 2009 like i do you probably when one size down like I did. Im normally a medium so i had to buy a small for my 09 Bell Star RSD (in most cases), so 2010 and up there now true sizes. Hope this help.
