These gloves provide excellent ventilation, and as a short glove keep my hands cool. The distortion control on the pinky is a great feature not all short cuff gloves have. They aren't bulky, so you don't lose the feel of your controls when you're riding. The cuff doesn't tighten quite as much as I'd like - the fingers are the right length, but I can velcro the wrist shut and still pull my hand out of the glove! Hopefully I'll never see that happen if I go down. Until then, these are my number one gloves!

These Sidi's are a pretty good short boot. They look bulky but they're pretty lightweight - I don't notice them when I'm riding (you shouldn't be noticing your boots anyway!) Open the vents on the sides to get some nice airflow to your feet. One complaint I have is the tongue of the boot - there's no elastic or anything keeping the tongue forward so it tends to slide to the side.

The Dainese knee v guards are slim and wear easily beneath a pair of jeans. A friend of mine told me these would never stay in place in a crash over 10mph, but a couple weeks after I got them I lowsided at ~40mph and they totally saved my knees! They didn't move or shift at all when I went down. You can bet I'll have these on every time I ride.
