Tried on a ton of different dainese gloves and none of them fitted over my dainese jacket correctly so I ended up getting a short glove... but i still wanted a 3/4 style glove in case my sleeve comes up a little in a crash. Anyway these gloves are great... look awesome, but defiantly need some break in time - ver hard to get them on when your hands are sweaty, but order them accordingly or the fingers will be too long. only complaint is pinky is really long, dont get it - it gets squeezed between my brake lever and handlebar sometimes which is kinda dangerous, but that was my first day riding with them. wish there was just a little bit of stretch in the palm so you can get them on my hands easier when its hot out. Honestly, I should of went with the icon overlord short. Tried these on in the store and they were AWESOME, just because its dainese doesn't mean its simply "the best" (btw I hate icon) :)
Yes, I recommend this product.

I researched, researched, and researched some more. I went from a riding "shoe" to a full length race boot. At first I picked up a pair of A*s SMX-5's because of the price. They were super comfy, and fit well.... I ended up returning them because they weren't vented. Anyway, I picked these up and don't regret them at all. SO MUCH MORE PROTECTION THAN A*s ... Please realize that these are one of the ONLY sets of boots that prevent your foot from being crushed, twisted, and extended too far forwards and backwards (for $300). Now I realize when you get to this caliber of "safety mechanisms" boots because extremely uncomfortable, bulky, etc - NOT these. These are extremely comfortable because they have a inner booty design (although no lace up) but its not needed. Finally sizing, width is regular. I am a US 9.5 and went with a Euro 42 (US 9) and they fit like a glove. DONT go up a size, they will be too big. Go down a size if you a 1/2 size. I even tuck in my SHIFT riding jeans (baggy) into them and they still aren't too tight. LOVE THESE! I Wouldn't ANY other boot brand over these, period. Oh, these are the air version and they do flow better, but nothing insane. Airs are the way to go. Perforation is so tiny I doubt if you get caught in the rain your foot would get wet anyway.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Everyone should definitely pick up a pair of these for the price. I love expensive designer jeans (true religion, 7 for all mankind, rock & republic) and these honestly fit and feel nicely like they do. In ALL my jeans I am a 30/31 depending on the style of them. 9 out of 10 times I am a size 30 waist. FOR THESE, I BOUGHT A SIZE 32. Trust me, size UP one size. I tried on a size 30 and they fit so snug (around the waist) that I wouldn't need to wear a belt ever, and they wouldn't be comfortable on OR off the bike. A 32 fit perfect. I also got the dark, as the lighter color just come off as "cheaper" looking compared to the darker color which looks a lot more fashionable. Oh, I had AGV sport camo kevlar pants prior to getting these, and they were so baggy I had to sell them to a friend. Most of these "riders pants" are super baggy and just look silly off the bike. These jeans are a typical regular fit so you don't look dumb. Great buy!

I know the Race outs are to tuck in pants, but can you were them under jeans.

I have skinny calfs, can the race out fit my calf will under jeans?
yes, under your jeans no problem! Thats how I wear mine :) I have skinny calves as well. They are adjustable to fit different calf sizes. They also open up big enough so you can even [fit] baggy jeans in them

Which boot part II?

Ok, thank for the feedback, you have talked me into spending more money, but I think it will be money well spent. I have narrowed it down to these 3 - please let me know what you would buy.
1. Dainese TRQ race out- they dont look like they have that much protection, but look comfy?
2. Sidi Vertigo-
3. Alpinestar - SMX- R

I know if I spend much more, I will get into staight track boots. I want to be able to ride to mall, or wherever and walk aroung for a couple of hours in comfort, but I aslo drive agressive sometimes and value the protection. So are input means a lot to me, so if none of these 300$ boots fits my standart, can you throw me a bone. Thank you for your time. DDD
I looked at all three boots. I tried on all 3 boots. Dainese TRQ race out 100%. Sidi boots are over priced for what you get. You will not regret your purchase! I agree in pictures they do not look so beefy, but look at ALL that shiney plastic, that is HARD plastic that will protect your heel & ankle in case your bike ends up on your ankle. The sidi and the A*'s boots still do not have the features that the dainese does. Its a simple boot thats sporty, yet offers such a great degree of protection. Please go to "Dainese Torque Pro Out Boots Review at RevZilla.com" on youtube and look at the $400 boot review. essentially you get the SAME SAFETY but save $100 because you dont get a gel sole and fancy shiney toe/heal sliders.

what boot do you think I should get?

I cant decide whether to buy the Alpinestar SMX-5 or the SIDI Cobra, looking for comfort when walking and protection- thx
SMX-5 is definitely more comfortable than the sidi cobra. They offer the same amount of protection. Sidi's are a little more narrow (hate this personally). Man, for 50 more bux get the dainese TRQ race out boots. They offer crush, twist, extension (forward/backward) so much more protection incase your bike lands on your ankle man. Check out my review I just posted on them. I bought the SMX-5, went to the store, and the guy picked up the boot and goes watch this and bend it in half like a piece of paper. the cobras would do the same. the dainese will not. It's 50 dollars more, and sooo much more protection. I just got the dainese and returned the SMX-5's, it was a great decision. They also look much sportier in person. GREAT BOOT
