To start, it needs to be looked at from the lens of sub $120 helmet; that said I am very impressed. Out of the box it has a good feel and the liner looks nice, it doesn't look cheap. It has some rough edges on the moulding peak, but easy to look past. The visor has no visible distortion and has good clarity. The peak is adjustable and in its lowest position will act as a sun block. It works comfortably with goggles without a problem, and the visor is operable with goggles on. It has a ratchet style chin strap that works well.
You would feel some grab at higher speeds when you turned your head, I think as much from the long profile of the helmet and not necessarily because of the peak. Noise I would say is on the quieter side of average. Visibility was excellent and I had no fogging at all, which is often a problem in my other helmet. The lack of fogging is probably do to, as much as anything, the lack of a chin skirt so there is lots of fresh air coming in to the helmet. Overall I am very happy with it.
