I was surprised at how comfortable and soft these are. In addition, they flow air much better than I was expecting--very important in Texas. I bought them for the protection (which hopefully I'll never put to the test), but they are easily comfortable enough to wear as everyday jeans.
Fit: similar to a normal, "loose" style pair of jeans. I wear a 32 waist/34 inseam, and a 32 of these fits as expected. I can easily fit my kneepads under them.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Bell Revolver Helmet - Rally Black
Bell Revolver Helmet - Rally Black
Bell Revolver Helmet - Rally Black Convenience meets confidence with Bells all-new Revolver modular helmet. By harnessing the design horsepower of the marquee Bell Star and the extensive RandD know-how of Bells Santa Cruz, Calif. engineering team, weve made a flip-up thats as beautiful as it is functional. One look and its easy to see the family resemblancethe new school shaping and contours that are the signature of the Star (as well as the value-minded Vortex and new mid-line RS-1) are clearly evident and functional in the Revolver. Like its siblings, the Revolver features Bells Velocity Flow Ventilation system to usher cooling air through the helmet. The systems use of precisely-placed flow separator combined with its truncated shape make for an inherently stable aerodynamic signature. The Revolver includes modular-specific features like the integrated internal Sun Shadea short, dark shield independent of the main shieldwhich drops down with the flick of a lever to fight bright sunlight. A robust, easy-to-actuate button opens the Revolvers mechanism allowing the chinbar to flip up. The helmet also uses the worlds quickest, easiest-to-use shield changing systemBells ClickReleaseallowing the option of more than a dozen tints, including the astounding Transitions SOLFX photochromic shield. Other features include comfy Contour Cut Cheekpads, a removable washable comfort liner, Bells Magnefusion strap keeper which replaces the often hard-to-locate strap snap with an elegant magnetic solution that easily engages and secures the strap end. Features Industrys 1st Modular Helmet With Function and Performance All in One Internal Sun Shade for On the Fly Protection Velocity Flow Ventilation Super Stable Aerodynamic Signature Click Release Shield Mechanism Nutra Fog II Anti Fog Coating Lightweight Polycarb Alloy Shell Contour Cut Cheekpads Removable/Washable Comfort Liner Antibacterial Liner Magnafusion Strap Keeper Five-year Warranty Comes with clear faceshield

This is my second helmet (my other is an RS-1). Wanted to try a modular, and this was on sale.
Fits very well--is less tight on my face due to the lack of cheekpads that are present in the RS-1, but still snug enough that it doesn't slide around.
It's a bit noisier than the RS-1, but it doesn't really bother me.
I wish the flip-down shield were a little darker, but it gets the job done.
The mechanism for locking the face in place seems a bit flimsy. It's probably fine, but it lacks a solid, satisfying click when I put it back in place.
Finally, the peripheral angle on this is a little less than my RS-1, which takes some getting used to.
All in all, these are minor nitpicks, and this is a nice helmet.
