The RX-Q fit my head a little looser than the same sized Vector. This tightened it up perfectly. I went to the 12mm. Terribly easy to remove and install. Makes me love the helmet even more with this level of easy modification.

Shield is quality as expected. I found this easier to get in and out than my old Vector even though exact same mechanism. I might just be used to it. Dark is a great choice, works very well in all but dead of night.

I have the airvolution for more serious rides. But this is exactly what I was looking for for in town rides. Great protection for the price point. And GREAT fitting and feeling gloves. MUCH better than the Speed and Strengty short gloves I had before for the same price. Couldn't be more happy with them.

I went from a Vector to teh RX-Q. Guy running a stop sign put an end to Vector, which did its job wonderfully. The RX-Q seems like a more substantial helmet than the Vector, but feel lighter. VERY quiet, great airflow. And I LOVE the hi-viz, even better than graphics versions. Earg pads are a breeze to get in and out. Even visor seemed much easier to pull off and put on, even though basically the same mechanism. LOVE the helmet.

The picture you provide for pre-order of the Deco is different than the picture Arai has on their website. Yours looks to have a giant Arai logo in the back, theirs does not. Do you know what will be produced?

Silver/ Gold Mirror
Just wondering if anybody has purchased and/or used these Face Shields and have had a good experience with them. I am just trying to figure out if the Silver or the Gold has more protection against the sunlight or not and if theres any issues i might come across with either of these two face shields, Thanks!
I can't speak for gold, as I've been waiting on Revzilla to stock them to buy one. But my wife has been using the silver on her Vector for a couple months now and is amazed with it. Perfect tint, day or night riding, she absolutely loves it.
