I bought this helmet because of the reviews. I needed it for the Michaux State Forest Dual-sport event this past weekend and future off-road/dual-sport events. I love that it was a "$100" vs $500+ for an Arai or similar. I have a full-time helmet I wear but for off-roading on my GS1200Adv, I wanted something I wasn't concerned trashing and provided good viz but more importantly great AIR FLOW.
FIT: The helmet was really snug on my cheeks but fit perfect otherwise (everybody's going to be different). It was a lot quieter than I expected it be. I expected to have to wear hearing protection. I rode with and without - the helmet held it's own. I like that there's space to put headphones or a BT system with internals.
AIR FLOW: Best of all was the air flow. Riding a 1200 GS Adv on single track designed for 250's smoked my derriere - talk about sweat! 4 of us were riding big bikes, and we all went down several times riding in areas a big bike should not be in...but it was fun! We got pretty hot and sweaty running up and down the trails helping each other pick up our pigs.
VISIBILITY: A very excellent surprise was the incredible face shield with super wide peripheral vision and no distortion whatsoever. The shield clicked into position and stayed there out of the 3 slots. The first up slot is about 1" up which provided excellent ventilation and kept the shield edge about inline with your cheek bones - below your eyes.
The next one is kind of dumb - right in your field of vision and the upper one, I wish could go up just a tad higher, but where it's at worked fine and was no different than that of my buddies Arai HD3.
HIGHWAY RIDING: The helmet on the highway did surprisingly well too. The bill did not pull the head up or back. The only stresses noted were turning your heading side to side at speeds over 75 did you notice the pull, but it was minor.
NEGS: The only negative I noted was the chincy vent knobs. The one on the top back vent seemed move and rattle a bit..., the front chin vent knob is hard to find with gloves and you can't really tell if it's open or closed.
OVERALL IMPRESSION:
All in all - way impressed, especially on sale at this most outstanding store! I paid $95 for it due to Revzilla Dollars.
Can't beat that!
Really glad I bought it for summer trail riding.
Yes, I recommend this product.

REV'IT! Pacific H2O Rain Suit In developing the PACIFIC H20 rain suit, one of the main goals was to make it easy to put on in just a few seconds about the time it takes you to get soaked during a heavy shower. Mission accomplished. The solution lies not only in the long, diagonal front closure, but especially in the newly developed, non-stick, PVC-free coating on the inside of the Power Nylon outer shell. The result is a 100 waterproof, breathable, and very practical all-weather companion that will meet the demands of any rider. Convenient features include a storage pocket on the upper leg. For safety, reflection panels on the shoulders and lower legs ensure great visibility. If you need to stand out in traffic even more, the PACIFIC H2O comes in a high-visibility neon yellow option. PROTECTION FEATURES Outer shell PVC-free PWROxford with PU coating, PVC-free PWROxford EN471 with PU coating (in Neon Yellow color only) Waterproofing 100 waterproof Composition 100 polyester (100 polyurethane coating) Visibility reflection at shoulders and legs, reflective logo at chest and back ERGONOMIC FEATURES Fit tour fit, regular Adjustability adjustment tabs at upper arm, cuffs and ankles Features PVC-free XL front zipper Elastic at waistline Includes transport bag Stash pocket on left leg EN343 certified

Been using this since it came on the market. I have an XL Hi-Viz that fits over my Revit Defender suit and when I'm commuting over my mesh Tourmaster - no problem. I bought it because of Hi-viz - we got nailed in the tail of a passed hurricane rains...I want to be seen when it's white-out conditions with truck spray... no problem.
We just rode 1.5 hrs in moderate to heavy rain this weekend and I was dry....but couldn't tell for the sweat. I couldn't feel any ingress of water - just me dripping in it.
Likes -
-pack size is great.
-Taped seams.
-Super light weight.
-Fits over clothing and really easy to put on.
Dislikes -
1. when it's hot - your hot and sweaty.
2. the zipper catches every time
3. Learn a trick to use a plastic bag over your boots when sliding it on to not catch the boot...that works great....fold up the bag and stow it in the left thigh pocket.
4. The shin/ankle hook/loop is too short, make it go further around the back of the calf to fold over better.
I've worn it about 10 times now...still good piece of kit.

I like the gear - talk about protected. It's Goretex but not waterproof at all - you will get soaked. It's ok for a quick rain shower.....it does dry fast.
I've ridden in 30 to 105 degs in this outfit. In the heat, The jacket breaths well with the wrist vents open, chest and back vents open - flows pretty good. When you have a fairing, the venting drops drastically. The pants don't breath very much because of the seated position, the vents on top get hardly any air. But when you go off-road and stand up on dual sports, the flow is ok.
The overall is it's pretty rugged. I wasn't trying to be GQ when I bought this and had a red bike...that wasn't the intent.
I am disappointed that this expensive Goretex ensemble doesn't even come close to keeping you dry....that's why I had to spend another $100 for the AWESOME Revit one-piece hi-viz rain suit....
Anyway - it's a really nice piece of kit.

As usual - order something from you guys is amazingly easy and super fast delivery.
The sun visor/flight helmet style end clip broke for some odd reason, as I don't use the visor that often, but it is a GREAT feature for the C3 helmet. Of course it happened just out of a year.

Heidenau K60 Scout Rear Tire A true 50/50 dual sport tire, the K60 Scout brings a proven balance of performance on- and off-road. With an improved tread and compound, the Heidenau K60 Scout dual sport tires deliver better cornering stability and wet weather grip on the pavement, while delivering off-road as well. The chevron style tread pattern is similar to full knobby designs which provides lots of open space between the tread blocks to route sand, mud and water from the contact patch while constantly keeping some rubber in contact with the road as the tire rotates. This tire is a stand-out as it does not sacrifice on-road longevity and adhesion to the pavement for off-road traction. A difficult feat for any tire to accomplish. TL Tubeless TT Tube Type Tire Please Note Tire size 150/70 -17 has a solid, center band rather than the staggered tread pattern pictured (see below). Tire size 150/70-18 has a less pronounced center tread stagger (see below). Please Note The K60 Scout tread pattern will vary depending on tire size.

As soon as the Zilla team had 'em, I ordered them. It was a bear getting the front one on! The rear took a long time to get to the softer compound and was pretty squirrely for the first 300 miles.
The biggest thing I want to report is the bigger tire for the Adventure has the solid center instead of open sipes - that's really bad on wet roads and watch out for wet rubber snakes! I mean really watch out!!
The guys with the other smaller tires, non-solid center line, have reported no problems - well of course, the water's being moved out.
On the dirt and back gravel-pack roads, the tires are great. I recently did a very high-paced ride on dirt roads (50-60mph) with the tires at 25/28 psi - worked great - really good traction. Got back to hardball, pumped them back to 32/36 - on dry road they're quite fun...but not on wet.
So Heidenau - fix that big tire to be like the smaller brethren and we'll be happy! I know you did it because of the heavy bikes, but you got to fix that!
Happy trails to y'all!

Got these gloves based on advertized feature of "made for heated grips". Wanted a waterproof warm glove without all the liner in the palm. I've got heated grips and liked the idea of insulation over the top of the hand.
Findings:
1. Articulation of the thumbs is lacking - not enough freedom to move.
2. There's no insulation at the wrist - wrist gets cold, feels like cold air is coming in. Did a 325 mile ride in 34 to 50 degree day. Was pretty cold in the morning. Not warm enough.
3. They look great. Plenty of protection on top. Knuckle protection is excellent - don't even know it's there.
4. The impact pad on the outer palm is too big! Sticks out 1/4" and affects the grip. They should have made an area pad instead of a sewn-in bumper pad.
5. Not good enough for under 40.
6. I put "recommend" but I wouldn't buy them again because they're only good from 40 to 50 degrees then you got to wear something lighter. The range is too small for where I live.

I just changed my tire on my 1200 GS Adventure, it was a real struggle to be honest. Got 'er done though. Had I not had another crowbar and plenty of liquid detergent, I could not have mounted the tire. I will be buying the longer third bar.
The plus for this little pack is just that - fits nicely into the kit. Very sturdy. Had no problem taking the tire off, but getting the new one on was something else.

Had to go to an XL even though my hand measured 9". Plenty of airflow on the top and fingers. Not a lot of padding on the palm, gets a little numb.
For $29 this is more of a whine than anything, the only complaint I have is the seams on the inside of the glove. At first, you really feel them in the finger tips, but after breaking in the glove, you don't notice them.
I'm happy and definitely recommend them.

My wife likes the jacket a lot. We just rode 1300+ mile trip with temps in the mid-90s; she liked it but complained that she got warm because, as a pillion rider, she's blocked from much of the air. For rain, we resorted to using a cycling rain jacket over top - which is better because it keeps the Air jacket dry for after the rain shower.
All in all - she likes it - it looks great on her....that's important to her. I'm happy because she's got good Revit riding protection

How would this install on the tank? Velcro? And does it include map pocket and rain cover ?

Thanks
Steve, I just installed it on my 09 GSA. Yes to map case and cover. Map case is real small. Fitting to my tank is fine. They provide a neoprene soft cover for the tank. There's three attachment buckles - one back and two up up by the bars.

Hi, just wondering if these pants make the typical noise that the waterproof textiles do when you walk. Thanks.
