I would rate this as an average helmet, nothing too fancy, but definitely a step up from the "entry level" helmets. The liner is nice, pretty comfortable around the face, but lacks padding for the top portion of the head. The helmet allows for good airflow through the upper vents, but of course, this is at the expense of noise. The helmet is rather quiet with the vents closed, however.
I would say the fit is intermediate-round oval. I get pressure points on both the front and back of my head after about 20 minutes in the helmet.
Styling and graphics are pretty cool. This helmet has a very aggressive look to it, which makes it stand out. Parts do not feel as solid compared to those on my Shoei, however they don't feel cheap either.
All in all, its a good mid-range helmet that packs wonderful styling, with good features, and a great price. Would recommend.

I have owned these pants for about 3 weeks now, and use them for spirited sport riding, not the track. The very first thing I noticed about these pants was the airflow through the perforations. They flow a good amount of air, and are easy to remain cool in on 80 degree days. I imagine they, like all other gear, would be somewhat warm once the temperatures get up to the 90+ range, but that is not a flaw, nothing to be done there.
I have been wearing "riding jeans" for the past 2 years, and I feel very safe wearing these pants compared to jeans. They are thick, heavy, and sturdy feeling. The knee and shin armor is solid and seems like it would hold up as designed in a crash scenario. The hip pads and tail bone pads are very thin, but I suppose they are better than nothing.
I am 5'9" 145 lbs (quite skinny), and I ordered a size small. They are just a bit big for me in the thigh and waist area, so I wish they would have had one size smaller.
Overall, the protection in these pants feels great. They are comfortable, they seem to be put together very nicely, they don't constrict any leg motion on or off the bike, and provide good ventilation. For $200, I would recommend these pants to everyone.

AGV K3 Celebr8 Helmet The K-3 is near the top end of the AGV entry level range. GP-tech lines and Valentino Rossi replica helmet graphics make this the ideal helmet for young riders and fans of the racing world. The only full-face thermoplastic model in the agv range, the K-3 is the perfect choice for riders in search of a safe, high-quality helmet with attractive design at a modest price. The K-3 design is inspired by the latest AGV developments starting from the Stealth, S-4, and Ti-Tech and continuing with the Blade/Blade LX and Gp-Tech that have so clearly and distinctive defined the companys style. This makes the helmets immediately recognizable and distinguished from all the other proposals on the market. In the same way, the differences with the helmet that the K-3 has replaced are equally evident. Features Fabrics Dry-Lex with hygienic treatment Inside padding Removable and washable (excluding neckroll) Number of shells 1 shell size Retention System Double-D ring Shell Painted HIR-TH (high resistant thermoplastic) resin Shield Mechanism Perimetrical visor seal, XQRS (Extra Quick Release System) - shield replacement without tools in few seconds Ventilation System Front air intakes and rear extractors Note Helmet comes with clear shield, tinted shield available for purchase separately.

What safety ratings do AGV helmets have?

I autocross a car but helmets are required to have a SNELL M rating (2005 or higher rating).
I can't even find out on AGV's official website what kind of safety certifications they have in Europe. (i.e. SFI, British spec ratings, etc)

Do you guys know? This is important stuff for those of us that use motorcycle helmets for other forms of racing (and I'm sure it's important for guys/gals that track their bikes too)

The electroplating process leaves behind an energy that never truly dissipates. An energy best described as a soulless mercurial void. Both engaging and rebuking the envious stares of caged drivers, the Claymore Chrome glides through the jagged chasms of modern urbania. It passes no judgment, resigned to merely observe and note. It is the mirrored enabler - acknowledge and move on.
