The Alpine Arctic Drystar glove is not a new product but, the HV colorway style is, and it is really well done. Typically I wear a small in the European gloves and this one is no different. What is consistent from A-stars and other euro gloves is that the wrist portion of the glove requires a break in and is quite tight when new. I would like to see more elasticity in this products' wrist portion for easier on/off of the glove. I haven't had the product long enough to rate some of the durability issues but, appears well made.

These are a nice alterative to more of the higher priced sunglasses on the market. You get three pairs of lenses with the purchase consisting of smoke, mirrored smoke, and clear lenses. The sunglasses come with a nylon pouch as well, however, the nylon pouch is not lined with a soft material which could scratch the lenses over time. Also included is a lense wipe which I haven't used so I am unable to comment on its effectiveness.
I have used them with a full face helmet with a clear shield and an offroad helmet in dusty conditions. Both with good results and no annoying air blast while offroad, however, offroad at speeds of only 40-50 mph. The lenses have remained scratch free which is a definete plus but, I have only used the tinted lenses that come installed with the glasses initially. The fit is nice and snug over the ears and around the head which helps them to stay in place quite nicely. My only issues with these has been the peripheral vision aspect of the glasses. Compared to other brands I can see the "split" between the lense and my vision during head checking which I didn't happen to like. Your results may vary. Lastly I have already lost an "ear sock" or the rubber piece that fits over your ears. Those pieces come off the frame a little to easily. IMHO a good bargin.

This is the fifth helmet that I own and the only one presently from AGV. There are some very good reviews posted abuout this model helmet on the net especially the one from WebBike World and I had used it and others to help me choose this helmet.
Upon my intial use of the helmet I did feel a little pressure at my temples, however, this has gone away after a couple of uses. The helmet fits me quite snug and I wear a small. Ventillation is very effective and keeps you quite cool and fog free. One of the only complaints that I have had with this helmet is the chin curtain. It is retained by friction and does not fit very tightly installed so I have to adjust it quite often. It does, however, stay in place while riding and at highway speeds. I bought the smoke shield right away. It's just the right tint (the helmet comes with clear) and is comparable to most other mfg's offerings. I chose the yellow version of this helmet because I wanted the vizibilty that the neon yellow offers. I wasn't too crazy about the plain Hi-viz offerings on the market and more importantly I was on a budget. The graphics are subtle and yet are not going to represent the graphics as on Rossi's GP-Tech version. They are close though (if that's important to you). All in all an economical and quality helmet.

I chose to purchase these gloves because Revzilla did not have stock of the Dainese 4 Stroke short cuff glove in my size at the time. Quite a leap in price but worth it.
Gloves tend to be one of the hardest items for me to fit. Prior to purchasing these gloves I had bought both leather and textile gloves from different mfg's and between three different mfg's I fit three different sizes. Four now with Dainese. I am going on about this because with Revzilla's exchange policy I was able to get the right size on my second try and that hassle free policy made the purchase that much easier.
The Dainese Full Metal Pro gloves are worth the investment you make on them. A couple of notes though, typically you might see some fraying with the kevlar liner. It's not the stitching but the liner inside of the leather and easily fixed with a flame. Second, there is break in period, or there was for me, and mentioned in another review it's possible that you may experience some irritation in your little pinky fingers from the reinforcement panels but, they should "break in" with some wear as well. Also a note on airflow. These gloves don't have the best airflow but, anytime you add a hole or change the material to a mesh you compromise the protective qualities of the glove and that is not what these gloves are about. If MotoGp riders can have confidence in these gloves @ 200mph, I think I can too @ 80!

There are currently plenty of reviews for this jacket available here @ Revzilla and on the web so this review really just gives "my 2c" on the jacket.
For summer riding it's perhaps the ultimate in terms of airflow. I had reviewd the Dainese Air Pelle earlier and for a leather that jacket has lots of airflow too but, the Shotgun offers more.... much more (understandably), however, you wont have the same level of abrasion resistance and hope I never have to find out the difference!
In terms of fit, I find the Shotgun to be on par with all of the Dainese jackets that I currently own. You must keep in mind that a textile jacket is not going to be cut quite the same as a leather and therefore the Shotgun offers more of a "forgiving" fit with adjustability allowing for more room to layer. The cuffs would be my only complaint as the only adjustment is at the cuff itself and tends to look sloppy when paired with gloves but, this is a minor complaint to me.
I live in the SW part of the country where it tends to get really hot during the summer months and this jacket is perfect for this region and quite simply I don't like the idea of riding without protection. If you are considering this jacket for part your summer riding gear you will not be dissapointed!
Yes, I recommend this product.

I just wanted to touch on a few of the paticulars of this rain suit since you dont get much from the pictures or product specs. I haven't had a chance to test the water resilliance yet as it seldom rains in south west. Props go to Kat @ Revzilla for reccomending the XL size for me. I usually wear a size L jacket and the XL fits well over this. The sizing runs a bit small. The mittens mentioned on the product page are useless as I have small hands and couldn't even pull them on my bare hands and couldn't even imagine them ever fitting over gloves. They are stowed in a velcro pocket on the lower cuff of the jacket. A good idea but, no real thought as to the end user. The hood stowes neatly rolled up under the collar of the jacket as well. The whole suit fit's neatly in a 12"x12" pouch which will fit neatly in a tank or saddle bag.
The product specs list the SIDI logo as reflective and it is not. The only bit of reflective material I have found is the piping on the front of the jacket seam.
I bought this as a simple rain suit and didn't expect much from the additonal features such as the hood and mittens. I am sure it will function for it's intended use

I am not really sure what I can add to this review that hasn't been reviewed or discussed already elsewhere. If you are considering this helmet for the graphics you will not be disappointed! They are very detailed and subtle such as the cheribs that adorn the middle of the chin bar all the way to the top of the shell. Revzilla has some good photos on site for this.
On a more technical note I wear a size S for most helmets and the shell size for this helmet is a little larger than most considering SHOEI offers five shell sizes. The chin bar is also larger or taller. So you tend to get more of that "loli-pop" effect while wearing it. Hardly a reason not to consider this helmet though and maybe only my perception of this.
I have only one minor complaint with this helmet and that would be the padding for the chin straps. They don't conform with the straps at the ends and tend to slip away when buckling the chin strap however, I don't find the chin strap's nylon to be irratating and so not an issue.
All in all a great helmet from SHOEI wheather you choose a graphics model or solid color.
Yes, I recommend this product.

This is a very comfortable helmet with modest features. SHARK's sizing is a bit different from some of the other helmets that I own in that I usually wear a size S and with SHARK I had to move up to a M. Regardless the fit was right on. I tend to wear an intermediate oval shape so it fits my head just fine. Your milage may vary! The finish was nice with no noticable flaws. Interestingly enough this helmet sits on my head with the chin bar noticably lower than other brands. The first defogging detent in the shield is quite large, however, from where the chin bar sits it is not obtrusive to my vision through the shield while at this setting. I wish this helmet had eye glass ports for wearing sunglasses as it can be quite uncomfortable to put the glasses in place but, this is not unlike the SHOEI RF-1100. Although I purchased this helmet as a closeout item, SHARK has it listed in the 2011 catalog so I think it's safe to say this helmet will be around a while. I would rate this helmet as a good buy and would certainly recommend it.

I bought this for my SHARK S700 helmet. It has a nice dark tint to it and utilizes a very simple shield removal system. The shield construction seems to be very sturdy and fits just as good as the clear shield that came with the helmet. I would highly recommend this product as the helmet itself doesn't have any eye glass ports within the liner and can make wearing sunglasses a bit uncomfortable on long rides.

This jacket is specific to summer riding so I took that in mind when rating the "bang-for-the-buck" rating. It will perform exceptionally for this task. It may even do well for early spring/ early fall (when matched with a thermal base layer) depending where in the country you live, however, you would want something different if you are looking for an all round jacket to move you into late fall/ winter.
The Revzilla video was very helpful when choosing the sizing for this jacket. I wear a 54 in Dainese and I ordered a size 52 and the fit was consistent with the New Del Mar that I have in 54, which translates to an excellent fit. I believe that Dainese purposly made the jacket larger for layering. The 52 that I had purchased will only allow for a thin thermal base layer. If you would want to layer with a thicker layer you may just want to order to size. Again, I feel the jacket is limited in use so I preferred the snug fit.
The collar is a bit stiff at first but, has begun to soften up with continual wear. The shoulder armor is velcroed to the inside of the jacket and stays in place. It flows a LOT of air! Is it the ultimate summer leather? It very well may be!
