Reevu MSX1 Helmet - Graphic The world's first rear-view helmet! Reevu has been the industry leader in rear view technology with their patented mirror system, manufactured from a reflective polycarbonate material rather than glass! The polycarbonate material is almost impossible to break, weighs less than glass and provides additional safety and comfort to the rider. The mirror system essentially bends the light around the shell of the helmet, offering a clear view of what's behind. The Reevu System works just like a car's rear view mirror offering awareness of the road ahead and behind without making a conscious effort as both are simultaneously in your field of view. Features Patented rear-view technology Tri-composite carbon fibreglass, Kevlar and synthetic hi-tenacity advanced fibre shell Fully removable and washable liner Anti-fog face shield Note Helmet ships with clear face shield.

It took me 1 ride to get used to the read view. It just takes adjustments to how you tilt your head to see what you want to see behind you. The view isn't crisp, but it give a nice quick view of what is behind you without the elbow dip to look in the side mirrors.
I found the helmet to be comfortable, more comfortable than my Bell Star. Fits me true to size and a tag heavier, but barely noticeable.
This helmet is not a gimmick. Works pretty well.

I ordered my normal shoe size and it fits perfectly. I didn't need to break it it, but it still remains stiff. Easy to walk around it, but they squeak. This is a well made boot. I do find that the buckle is a little flimsy on the strap side. I always have to adjust the strap part so the buckle stays tight.
This has become my normal daily commuting boot as it sort of goes with my work clothes, but I easily change out of them when I get to work.

I got the dark silver iridium and love the way it looks on my helmet. I can ride with this shield until dusk, then it becomes too dark. During the day, I wouldn't use any other shield. It rarely fogs up and is quick to change on my vortex helmet.

The fit was almost perfect for me. I have short arms and the sleeves are a little long, but in riding position it almost doesn't matter. Opening up the vents allows for lots of air to flow. I usually ride with the vents open in the afternoons on my way home, but forget to close them for my morning commute and it does get a bit chilly even in Los Angeles.
Jacket is well made. Shoulder and elbow padding is nice, but the back protector is just a piece of foam. I'm considering upgrading the back protector, but just need to get the right one for this jacket.
Overall, this is a great jacket at a very good price.
