I moved up from a Nolan N90 modular to the Arai RXQ as this graphic (urban) was heavily discounted. Even though its weight as listed is only a little less than the Nolan, it is so well balanced that it feels a lot lighter. Fit and Finish is spectacular. I dont care for the graphic but at this price I dont care what it looks like. Ventilation is outstanding. Compared to my Nolan it feels like Im barely wearing a helmet (and I loved my Nolan).
Arais are expensive and I dont think I would drop 600 on one, but at this value its really too good to pass up. Having had one, I doubt I will ever buy another brand. Excellent value for money in terms of comfort. The only quibble I have is the chin strap - a double ring classic style. I dod prefer the Nolan's clip which was also better padded- Nonetheless the Arai RXQ is the winner all the way. Two enthusiastic thumbs up

I have used these for a few weeks now for commuting. I bought my usual size (40) and find them is a bit narrower than would fit most average feet. After a few days of break in they were considerably more comfortable. The insole is very basic and you can easily remove it if you find the boots too snug. The sole is quite supple and makes walking around fairly comfortable. Overall quality is as good as expected from this brand. A tiny gripe and warning: the tab that closes over the zipper has a very sharp edge and I've cut myself once on it . I would expect a better finished edge. Also the zipper has a velcro tab to keep it in place, but I find this an annoyance as its unnecessary and only increases the difficulty of removal as well as adds to the risk of cutting your finger on the aforementioned sharp edge. Protection is great (which is why I bought them) and they look good even at work with dress pants. Wearing them all day can be a drag as they are taller than the usual boot. Overall I would buy them again. Good value for money

I'm 5'6" 135 lb and wear a 31 waist Jean. I initially ordered the 32 which were loose as over ants even and fit baggy like ski pants. I exchanged them for a 30 which are perfect as the elastic waist has enough room. I use them as over pants wearing dress pants to work. Airflow is better than I expected. Feel cool up to the low 80s. With the liner I expect to use them into the fall. Well finished they go well with my viper jacket. Worth the money. And service as usual was great

I am 5'6'' 135lbs , wear a 30-31 waist and measured tru waist 33. I ordered the M Short.
First the positive: Light weight, high quality finish and zippers, easy to get in and out of. Understated designing.

Overall I was very impressed with the build quality and wish now that I had ordered a jacket of this brand as they pay attention to detail. I considered changing them to a S reg length, which would have been a better fit, but in the end decided to get something with more protection and that has a slimmer fit. I would recommend them overall

Im 5' 6" and weigh 135. Usually buy a 38 S Suit. I ordered the S initially which was too small and changed it for the M. Overall this is a great Jacket, in terms of flexibility and 3 season use. With all 3 liners in it is a snug fit. The sleeves particularly seem undersized at the wrists. I have tiny wrists for a man and yet feel its tight- The side pockets (as another reviewer noted) are badly placed and require quite a bit of flexibility to access. Also a bit tight at the waist. The shoulder armor seems to slip around and needs to be repositioned after wearing. However these are small gripes. I have only had it for a few weeks and used it with all 3 liners in 40 degree weather for a 15 mile ride comfortably, as well as a 70 deg ride with the rain liner. Styling is great, and it seems well constructed. Im a new rider and so have little experience for reference, but I would recommend this overall. I ordered the airglide 3 pants later which is a testament to the brand- also satisfied. Waiting for warmer weather to test out the jacket with no liners. Ive also used the liners as a casual jacket and its nice to have that option once I get to my destination and not walk into a room with "biker" tattooed on my chest!

This is my first helmet, so I have not much of a comparison. I was not sure how much I would get into bike riding so I wanted to avoid buying very expensive gear - the N 90 seemed like good value based on review and price. Bought a modular as I wear glasses and its an easy fit with those. I find it heavier than I expected, though I think amongst the modulars its one of the lighter ones. Overall construction quality is very good as is the finish. Visor is well crafted and a snug seal as mentioned in the review. Wish it came in more colors. Replacement visor shields are pricey if you pick one of the mirrored ones. My experience with CS at Revzilla in making the decision was excellent which seems like the universal experience

This may seem like a strange question, but I'm looking to find a multi-use jacket. Could I use the olympia airglide jacket for skiing as well as for riding my bike?
The protection will make it uncomfortable.

Wondering how these compare to the Tourmaster Venture Air? Which would flow more air?
I dont know the tourmaster but the airglide have great airflow. Have used them in NY summer over dress pants and been quite satisfied. In stopped traffic of course nothing works

Are these pants appropriate to wear over shorts in the summer time?
Will they provide adequate abrasion protection if only wearing shorts underneath? Most of my riding is commuting....some highway riding.. max speed 60-65! Thank you!!!! :-)
You may find them a bit baggy. And not much padding other than knee armor. I prefer Olympia airglide 3 which are also better ventilated

I'm very confused by the size chart. I'm planning to buy the Mens Airglide Pants and my true waist is 43". However, my jeans waist size is 36. Now which is the size presented in the size chart? What size shuold I buy for the pants?

I wear a 31 Jean and bought the 30 airglide as 32 was loose. If you will wear them where you wear jeans you should use that size size as a guide. Maybe go one size up. Also I suggest calling revzilla as I have ways gotten good advice from them on the phone for any issue specific to my needs.

I've been very happy with the airglide 3 from Olympia That have a zip out liner. They work great as overpants without the liner and are well constructed. Not as refined a finish as revit but pretty close

How does this run for sleeve length?
HI. I'm 6'2" 200# 43-44" chest. Short sleeves drive me nuts, and I couldn't find any mention in the reviews or video about fit for length. Any thoughts? Thanks a lot. Mark
I have the viper which I guess is cut similar. I'd say it's a avg to slightly longer sleeve. If you wear shirts with reg length you should be fine. You could call Olympia drect and I'm sure they could give you the actual measurements. Also depending on what climate you live in you could wear a gauntlet style glove and get full coverage.

I'm a 33'' waist and I plan on wearing the airglide primarily in hot weather with no liner. Can I go with a size 32?
I would say yes. I am a 31 and the 32 was a bit baggy. I am very happy with the 30 which I use without the liner. They have elastic in the waist so a 32 will expand a bit. Also the smaller size is less baggy I have a slim build so the smaller size looks more trim. I'm vey satisfied over the last month. Good airflow. I'm using them as an overpant and even then the size down is good

The Airglide riding pants has a waterproof liner. Does it have a full length side zipper?
With a full length zipper, you can zip it UP in hot dry weather, tuck it to the inside of the leg and get good air flow. If it starts to rain, pull over, zip it down and you're good to go in the rain.

Yes they do make a little swish swish though less than most others as the fabric is quite flexible and light
