SIDI Streetburner Boots If the GP-level Sidi Vortice Boots and the Sidi Vertigo Boots had a baby and King Solomon chopped off the top half of said baby, the Sidi Streetburner Boots would be the business end of that scenario. These are the toughest mid-height boots offered by Sidi and quite possibly the most robust riding shoes on the planet. If you want it turned up to eleven without the cumbersome nature of a full height boot, these are the brick outside lavatories you have been waiting for. Features: Low cut design External ankle brace system Composite inner sole Tecno-II buckle system for a perfect glove like fit Bolt on, adjustable and aerodynamic nylon scuff pads on the toe Top Grain leather outer construction Removable arch support Double stitched in all high stress areas Closable air vent Dual compound sole DuPont polymer toe shift pad Perforated Teflon treated nylon lining Shock absorbing heel cup

Overall it is a very well made 3/4 length boot. I like how well the boot breathes when walking, and you can feel the wind through the boot when you ride. Pretty light weight and not horrible to walk in. I would definitely suggest following the Euro Size, not your actual shoe size. I normally wear a 47, but I have a size 13 foot. I ordered the 47, it was tight across the foot but NOT by and it already broke in after a ride. Great feature of a retention strap over the top of the foot, it's just like my snowboarding boots. It allows you to custom fit the tightness to your foot. I would like to see the same design on the ankle but I am still content with this boot. You get what you pay for in this case. I have had other boots, namely Teknic Chicanes and these beat them by a long shot. I have had no problems with any screws in my boot, but if I do I trust Sidi to fix the promptly. Spend the extra money and buy higher quality boots, you will not regret it.
