REV'IT! Acid H2O Rain Pants Take the ACID H2O rain trousers anywhere you're going, just in case you suddenly find yourself in a downpour. They are easy to slip on, even over textile or leather trousers, thanks to the newly developed, non-stick, PVC-free coating on the inside. Laminated reflection panels at the lower leg ensure great visibility, and the trousers are extremely lightweight, making them easy to stow under your seat (in their complimentary bag). These are a bargain, considering their versatility and comfort. PROTECTION FEATURES Outer shell PVC-free PWROxford with PU coating Waterproofing 100 waterproof Visibility reflection at legs COMPOSITION Outer shell 100 polyester (100 polyurethane coating) ERGONOMIC FEATURES Fit tour fit, regular Adjustability adjustment tab at ankles Features PVC-free Elastic at waistband Includes transport bag EN343 certified

I walked into the Phila showroom asking for "emergency stuff sack rain gear." This is it. Rode from Phila to NYC through New Jersey "backcountry." On the way back it was scattered thundershowers with a 45 minute deluge in rural Pennsylvania. The gear kept me dry, plain and simple. There was no flapping. It is hot when standing around. The material is pretty thin, but that is all that is needed for keeping the water out. It really does keep the water out. For comparison, I didn't have glove covers, and they were soaked. Rest of me was comfy and dry. A good addition to a basic get out of trouble kit.
I agree with other posters that a waist drawcord would be helpful. The elastic was a little loose. Also agree that entry into the leg with a boot requires some effort. There is a hook and loop gusset at the ankle, but even open it was a bit of a struggle. Maybe taped zippers would be better. I am typically 3xl in RevIt sizing, but I think 2xl would probably work for me.
My recommendation is neutral, but there is no button for that . These are not as nice as the complementing jacket.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought this because in the summer I find myself skimping on bottom protection. The one time I've gotten off, I was wearing overpants, and that's what took the slide.
When I wear this suit, I have to confess that I feel like a dork, and walking into work I get comments like "Nice astronaut look, dude," but 1) it is very comfortable, 2) the armor fits great, 3) it's very easy in and out, much faster than a two piece and the zippers are great. The knee armor is a little on the inside, but I am fine with that. I am 6'2" with a 48 chest, 38 waist, 34" inseam, and I bought an XL. The waist is a little snug, but I thought 2XL was too big. Guess I just need to lose a few pounds. The hem is correct for me if I close the hook and loop over the boot. If it is open, then sitting length is correct, but the hem drags on the ground when walking.
The pockets are well placed, including an inside chest pocket, but I agree with another poster that passthrough pants pockets would be nice. I also like the articulated back pad. It's much more comfortable than the one in my mesh jacket. Finally the neoprene neck with the closure tab is a very nice touch.
All in all a great piece.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought these about three weeks ago. Initial impressions: Overall comfortable fairly easy to put on and take off, as intended. I have ridden on a couple of 35 degree mornings, and thought that another 10 degrees colder would be fine for these pants. The protective layer is ballistic nylon and the liner is a thin nylon shell.
Two minor beefs: 1) It would be nice to have the bib snaps another inch or so to the front. I have to twist quite a bit to get them to snap, and 2) The snaps could be a little stiffer. They have come loose once or twice. Also, these pants do not have hip protection.
Yes, I recommend this product.
