If you are looking for a great fall and winter overpant, this is a great one. They are sized like your jeans. I wear a 34 in jeans, and the 34 fit perfectly. I am 6'3, so I ordered the 34L and the length is spot on. Like I said, they are a great winter overpant. I have already rode several times in below 30 degree weather for at least an hour each ride. And with the insulated liner in, I didn't even feel the cold. That is because there is little to no venting in these pants. There are some small ones near the top, but while your in the riding posistion, these will not flow much air. I have also riden in a downpour that lasted about 20 minutes, traveling at highway speeds, and there were no leaks. The only downside I can talk about is, they are a little on the bulky side. Especially with the liner in. But I bought them for some seriously cold weather riding, so I was expecting some bulk.
Overall, these are a great overpant, that keeps you warm when it is freezing, and dry when it is coming down. I would look for another pant if you are looking for a 4 season overpant though. Great product for what it is intended for,

The style and protection of the pants seem awesome. They seem like they would take a fall, and protect you. However, if you workout or run, and have any type of muscles on your legs, these are not the pants for you. The waist fit fine... I even went up one size to help with the legs. But I still could not fit my legs in the pants with both liners. I am 6'3, 200lbs, with an athletic build.
Like I said, if you have toothpick legs, these are the pants for you.
**My overall ratings are because I was never able to ride in the pants. They look really durable though. For the price (and small legs) they are pretty nice.

What Size?

There seems to be no real clear chart on sizing for these. I have a 34 waist and about a 34 inseam. Would I go with a large? Also, would these pants work good as overpants, or are they meant to wear as pants alone?
