I wanted these boots BAD the first time I saw them on RevZilla due to their styling. I'm a t-shirt, jeans and sneakers type of gal. I ride to work occasionally and like that the boots don't look like heavy-duty biker boots.
Much time passed as I debated between the waterproof and the non-waterproof versions. I ended up purchasing the waterproof version because I liked the color choices better. I got Anthracite (some don't like the fuchsia piping, but I do) and wouldn't you know, now there's brown! I still like the Anthracite and I like the boot so much that I would buy a non-waterproof pair in brown if they offered it because I like earth tones.
The waterproof version is actually no worse than any of the other boots I use when it comes to airflow. They ARE a little warm on warm/hot days, just like my others - not unbearable at all - but If the non-waterproof version came in better colors, I probably would have chosen them since I don't ride in the rain on purpose.
I had no problem with the sizing. I wear a Women's 10 or a Men's 8-1/2. I purchased the 42's (US conversion 9.5 - go figure) because that's what my other boots are. The X-Streets are very comfortable to wear all day.
I have used these boots on both my Ducati and my Harley with no trouble. Laces on another pair of my boots have gotten hung up on my Harley pegs, but these are nice and tight.
