I've been looking at these pants for quite some time but I hesitated because I love my Dainese Yamato pants so much...why mess with perfect? I received the New Drake Air as a gift and now, these are my favorite riding pants. The fit is perfect, but order one size larger than normal. I am a size 8 and I ended up purchasing a 46. The waist is high enough to cover my backside but low enough where the waistband sits at a very comfortable riding position. The two air vents on the thighs allow a nice amount of airflow. Initially, I worried that these pants would be too warm for the summer but the venting is perfect, even on very warm days. The vents are a little difficult to snap in the open position, but I'm guessing I'll get the hang of it. Now, for those of you women who are vain and want to not only be protected when you ride, but you also want to look good, these pants are for you. The fit is amazing and very flattering. You won't be disappointed.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Dainese New Yamato Cotton Pants Abrasion and tear resistance Piece-dyed cotton Waist adjustment Temperature adjustment 2 air inlets on thigh with zipper Soft removable thermoformed inserts on the knee Soft inserts on the sides 4 outer pockets on the front Outside pocket on the back

How do these compare to the New Yamato Textile Pants? Will they hold up in a crash?

The New Drake Air seem to be a beefier version of the Yamato pants. I love my Yamatos, but it's easy to see that the New Drake Airs offer greater protection. I feel that the Yamatos, while nice, won't hold up as well in a crash as the New Drake Airs. The Cordura fabric and the composite protectors will offer better protection than the cotton Yamato pants. I own both styles and I tend to gravitate toward the Drake Airs.

do both the aqua liner and thermal liner come with this tourmaster air paints product?

i have a tourmaster series 2 jacket that has the pant zipper in the back, will this attach to it?
Yes, the zippers should match up. It matches up with two of my Dainese jackets without problem.
