I just tried one of these helmets and was very impressed. The fit and finish are top quality, clearly Kali set Arai as their benchmark and they hit it. Internal liner was very comfortable, and on a long ride the featherlight weight would be a huge asset. This is one of the lightest helmets on the market. On top of all that, I'm completely sold on the safety of the composite fusion technology that you only get with Kali helmets. Vision and airflow are good, too. I'm shocked a helmet of this quality, this light, with class leading proprietary safety technology is being offered at this price point. An incredible value, hundreds of dollars less than helmets that are inferior.
But, the helmet fit is very unique and not for everyone. The Naza is very round in shape. As round as an Arai Quantum, it seemed to me. Odd that Kali, as a new company, would restrict its potential base of buyers so much, but this helmet will not fit everyone. For me (I have a neutral/intermediate oval head shape, fitting a size large Arai Vector II, Shoei Quest or RF-1100 very well), the large Naza flopped around my head with too much cheek room, and moving down to the medium to fit my cheeks resulted in too little room in the forehead. It hurt. I fiddled with adding cheek pads to the large to make up for the general shape, but gave up and went back to the Arai. The helmet was too round for me, and since I fit the "neutral" size helmets that most people do, I think the Naza will probably be an awkward fit for most buyers.

The amount of airflow on these gloves is amazing. Better than previous summer gloves I've had by far, with the key being the mesh inserts between the fingers. I ride exclusively in the tropics, and these gloves are perfect for hot weather. No sweating even in 90 degree, 100 percent humidity days.
Protection on the gloves is the best of any vented glove I've found. The superfabric (woven ceramic) on the palm and up the side of the glove are reassuring, as is the clear quality of the stitching, materials and manufacture. I feel very safe in these, which I'm convinced provide the best combination of protection and venting in any glove on the market.
The kangaroo leather palm provides great feel as well - unlike even my less protective Joe Rocket or Scorpion summer gloves, I'm able to easily put my helmet on and use my fingers with dexterity.
The drawbacks are few, but they are there, leaving Held with some room for improvement on the next model. There are noticeable interior seams. From a safety standpoint, I can understand not wanting exterior seams, but there is a comfort sacrifice. For me, in an aggressive sport riding position, I definitely feel the seem on the interior of my thumb and it aggravates. Similarly, the hefty superfabric pad on the palm is noticeable when I'm on the controls. This is going to happen with any major palm protector, and will be well worth it if I ever go down in these, but it is worth noting that there is a small price to be paid.
I have 8 3/4 inch hands and typically on the low side of large. I got a large here, and they fit just as expected.

REV'IT! Turbine Jacket
The TURBINE is a must-have for the everyday rider looking for a premium protective summer mesh jacket. The goal in developing the Turbine was to create a 'bomb-proof' mesh jacket. NOTE Turbine Jacket runs 1 size larger compared to other REV'IT Jackets and to what the size charts indicate. So if you measure up to be a size 52, you should go with a 50 instead.

I ride in extremely hot weather, and after having a Joe Rocket Phoenix wear out in 6 months, I decided to get better quality hot weather gear. This fits the bill. Build quality is amazing, and I'm really surprised at the protective features as well. The jacket really feels both cool and bomb proof, and I didn't think that was possible. The size chart was dead on - just remember that the waist measurements are around your belly button at the thickest part and not your jeans waist size. The color is much more silver/gray than the photos show - a bit darker, and the black highlighs on the jacket actually work well with black or gray/silver pants. Value is actually there despite the really high price - you get a top quality jacket, probably the best mesh jacket on the market.

SAS-TEC Back Protector Cutting edge SAS-TEC material is intelligent armor constructed from visco elastic soft foam smart molecules. It has earned the highest CE rating available (CE level 2), during an impact, the armor freezes and hardens, absorbing the shock and distributing its force over a large area to reduce the risk of fractures. The protector is not destroyed by impact, but reverts back to its original state and maintains its capability to protect from multiple impacts. SAS-TEC Armor has a soft and pliable exterior (as opposed to rigid KNOX armor) which offers a great deal of comfort and mobility. This protector is anatomically designed and fitted to provide superior spine and back protection as well as the base of the neck /between the shoulder blades. SC-1/11 fits Women's Turbine Jacket SC-1/12 fits REV'IT! I purchased the SC 1/12 model, which is a perfect fit for my REV'IT Turbine Jacket. It slips in easily and is quite comfortable - with one exception. It is hotter than the flimsy foam that comes standard, and it does work against the purpose of a mesh jacket with very poor venting through the armor. That said, it works for the real purpose of having gear -- protection, and my jacket is still very rideable even in 90+ degree humidity. The armor is also much more in keeping with the other protective features of my jacket lacking in the stock back foam, offering CE level 2 protection, great fit and a good value for the protection you get. I feel much safer having real back protection and, if I ever do go down, I know I'll be happy I made this purchase.

Does Neither Motorcycle Nor Office Work Well

While one must balance comfort and safety, this shoe has little of either. I was hoping for a protective riding shoe for my commute, and a comfortable office shoe once I arrive. But in the attempt to do both, these shoes do neither. The thin leather offers little more protection that my normal office shoes. I doubt they'd stay on in a crash. And the shoe isn't comfortable either, tight in the toe box and loose around the heels and ankles. Honestly, I don't like either riding or walking in them much. For the money, I expected more than an ill-fitting office ankle boot rebranded as a protective shoe. They need to be better as either a proctive shoe or a comfortable one to be worth the money paid. Best to just keep a spare pair of office shoes at work and ride in with a real motocycle boot.

Sizing

The sizing chart for the "Limb Tubes" doesn't really help with picking the right size. They come in 3 sizes but the chart just says arms and legs sizes. How can i size my knee area to get the right size.

Thank,
MD
These are "one size fits all," with a lycra/cordura material allowing them to stretch to different size arms and legs. While there are different sizes listed for purchase, the sizing is for different applications, not generally for different people. If using for elbows, buy small; if using for knees, buy large. Medium is for the elbows of large humans and the knees of tiny humans. You'll know who you are if you need to buy mediums. I am 5'11'' 160 and the large works well for me on knee and shin - I can't imagine a medium fitting other than youth or very petite women.

Airflow of Turbine vs Airwave vs Ignition 2

How does the airflow compare on the Airwave, Turbine, and Ignition 2? I know there are a lot of differences in the level of protection, but I am curious if I am trying to wear it 90 degree and up if there is much difference in these jackets.
I own and wear this jacket in the tropics, where there is always high humidity and high temperatures. I can confirm that it is a very comfortable jacket at high temperatures - equally comfortable as the Airwave (though I haven't worn the Ignition 2). The dynex mesh flows air very well, and the mesh panels are very well placed for good airflow. The level of protection on this jacket so far exceeds a typical mesh jacket with superfabric panels instead of lower grade cordura, use of dynex mesh instead of polyester, high quality stitching, Prolife impact protection - you can feel cool without feeling like you are sacrificing safety. I do sweat on my back, as I upgraded the back protector with a SAS-TEC pad, and they do NOT breathe well. Stock back protector is subpar temperfoam, almost certainly for reasons of airflow in a hot weather jacket.

Upgrading the Rev'it Air with SAS-TEC...

In the Rev'it armor & protection guide video you mentioned the different types of body armor in the Rev'it jackets/pants. Is it possible to get the SAS-TEC upgraded armor (shoulder & elbow) for the Rev'it Air jacket? I understand that some jackets come standard with that armor but really like that jacket and want to up the protection. I'm planning on getting the back protection.
Other answers say no, which is technically true, the SAS-TEC protector isn't specifically designed for the Air. That said, it can be easily trimmed with a box knife to match the pocket of nearly any jacket. It only takes a few minutes using the existing foam pad as a template, and the manufacturer says it does nothing to the protective qualities of the protector. It will void the warranty, however . . .

Can this jacket be washed using the delicate cycle in a washing machine?

Assuming that the armor is removed, of course.
The official washing instructions say no, and REV'IT recommends hand wash and hand dry. I've known of others who have ignored this, taking out pads and machine washing on gentle, in a front loading washer, with a bit of Simple Green without apparent consequence. With those modifications making the washing more gentle (front loader, gentle detergent, gentle cycle), it'd probably be okay. Even so, I doubt REV'IT has any motive for advising hand wash other than the protection of your gear, and suspect they do so with some knowledge of long term negative impact on the gear. Good luck.

Where are these helmets made (country manufactuered in)?

Kali is an American company, based in Morgan Hill California. The design is done from there. Manufacture I'm less sure, but given Kali's new showroom in Shanghai and distribution with DQX bikes and participation in the China cycle show, it is a pretty fair bet the helmet is made in China - thus the Chinese distribution. I wouldn't let that worry you though, the helmet fit and finish is top quality.
