REVIT Akira Air Jacket The REVIT Akira Air Jacket sports MotoGP styling in a fully perforated leather jacket. Dual-comp protectors and CE-level 2 rated Seeflex protectors come standard at shoulders and elbows, with the option to upgrade with the CE-level 2 rated Seesoft back protector insert (sold separately). The fully perforated outer shell enables air to reach the body directly, while the detachable thermal liner can take away the early morning chill if needed. With slit pockets, document pockets, and inner pockets the Akira jacket lets a rider keep valuables close. The fully perforated Monaco Performance cowhide and PWRshell 500D stretch outer shell is blended together using sturdy safety stitching and safety seams. Thanks to the long and short connection zippers the Akira Air jacket can be combined with essentially any pants in the REVIT collection.. this replaces my tarmac jacket - I went down a size - Revit sizing seems pretty consistent. I like the lack of race hump on this jacket versus the Tarmac. I will do 400 miles with a backpack on and the tarmac made that a bit of a hassle. The most noticeable improvement over the Tarmac is the shoulder and elbow armor is much more form fit and comfortable. I bought it for its styling and it does not dissapoint. Love this jacket. However I would like to see Revit offer a matching leather pant for it that lives somewhere stylistically between the gear two pant and a full race pant. Finally - for a jacket at this price point it ought to come with the back protector already in it - gimme a break Revit!

These are good gloves, and I'm sure when its a little warmer out and the weather is wet I will love them, but as far as cold weather riding, I felt the sting. Was out this weekend (New York State - about 40 degrees on Sat and 36 degrees on Sunday) and I had to switch to my old reliable cheap ski gloves with less modern fabric technology, but more loft inside the insulation to keep my hands kinda warm. Like I said, the Revits are water proof so in temperatures above 50 degrees they will be good, but I'm still looking for something else. Also, for 200 bucks I was kinda hoping these were gonna be the ones. . .

More comfortable on the bike than I expected (Hypermotard) Great fit. A-one style. Love no graphics and simple design. Wouldn't mind a set of pants for the tarmac jacket that were same restrained style, but not all of the features of the Tarmac track pant.
