Arai Signet-Q Flash Helmet The Signet-Q takes all the favorite features of the RX-Q and create a whole new series based on all the successes. On the outside, the Arai Signet-Q Helmet looks very similar to it's namesake, the RX-Q, but on the inside you can see and feel the difference. A longer shell shape on the Arai Signet-Q Helmet gives 5mm more space front to back allowing for a larger number of heads to fit comfortably. The shape of the Arai Signet-Q Helmet releases forehead pressures and eliminate hot spots for a more comfortable fit every time. This shape works best for riders with a long oval headshape. Additional Features of the Arai Signet-Q Helmet Both the top vent set and side exhaust cowls are direct carryovers from the RX-Q Brow vent ducting redirects to flow air across the temples DDL-4 exhaust vent to the 10mm wider eye port (5mm on each side) Long Oval Fit SAI MAX-Vision Brow Vent shield Clear Pin Lock Max-Vision Brow Vent face shield Included with the helmet Elongated shell adds 5mm from front to back Long-Oval shape helps prevent Hot-Spot Multi-Density Single piece EPS liner Removable, replaceable, washable interior Dry-Cool Surface material for rapid displacement of heat and moisture away from your head and into the ventilation airflow for added comfort while riding and a quick dry between rides 5mm peel-away temple pads adds another level of customization, giving the helmet interior a little extra width when needed Enhanced for customizable micro fitment interior without the need to purchase extra interior components New FCS (Facial Contour Support) cheek pad design Innovative and exclusive spring support adds just the right amount of pressure when needed while being worn Meets or exceeds Snell and D.O.T. standards

If you need a more oval shape, this is the helmet. Compared to others I own, its the most comfortable, including my Bell Star and Arai Corsair V. This really is the Corsair V for the street. Outstanding workmanship, fit, and finish. Simply nothing wrong with this one.

Shoei Neotec Modular Helmet Evolving on previous designs, Shoei has revamped its modular helmet style with a streamlined and attractively sculpted shape that conveys the feel of freely moving through the outdoors in the Neotec Modular Helmet. Overall shell size is kept compact by incorporating the internal sun visors open/close mechanism inside all ventilation mechanisms are shaped and positioned in such a way as to reduce any possible drag. A redesigned aerodynamic spoiler also helps to cut lift, reducing neck strain on long, cross country rides. In the Shoei Neotec all these features combine to create a premium helmet that excels in appearance, protection, comfort and performance. The Shoei Neotec Helmet's chin bar is connected to the same axis point and mechanism as its shield, minimizing extra parts. This also enables simultaneous closing of the shield with the chin bar, which is then held in place with an easy-open lock release button. The shield lock system offers secure closure or the ability to keep the shield slightly open to allow for increased airflow. With the Shoei Neotec Helmet, Shoei now includes a built-in sun shield, the QSV-1. The visor tucks neatly away beneath a non-intrusive shell built into the helmets liner, and can be lowered with the easy control of a sliding button. Shoei Neotec Helmet Features Face Shield Features Easily operable lever mechanism Anti-fog, anti-scratch, 99 UV blocking New Pinlock-ready CNS-1 faceshield Wider and taller than the CX-1V that it replaces Includes Pinlock insert 3D injection molding process ensures a distortion-free view Improved Ventilation and Aerodynamics Newly designed vortex generators pull air through helmet 276 more airflow than Multitec Added inlets and outlets Vents are flush against helmet to maintain aerodynamics 5-Ply Shock-Absorbing Fiber Shell 3 shell sizes AIM Multi-Composite construction Lightweight yet strong Shell-integrated spoiler reduces lift and drag during high-speed riding Dual EPS Liner Multi-density EPS for optimal protection Two vents funnel fresh air through the EPS liner Dual liner channels route and disperse air evenly throughout the helmet EPS liner in chin bar All new interior Fully removable 3D interior liner Top center pad is removable and washable Improved cheekpad design allows better fit with eyeglasses Included chin curtain can be inserted into the chin bar to reduce turbulence and noise All Neotec Helmets sold in the US have a double D-ring closure Note Due to manufacturer restrictions, Shoei products can only be shipped to addresses within the United States

To its credit, Shoei has not advertised this helmet as a major breakthrough over the popluar Multitec (I have one), but it is. Everything is better. It's more quiet, has better ventilation, and the fit is great. Still heavy, but not as much as other modulars. New internal sun visor is solid and does not vibrate at speed with visor up and has excellent coverage. I put 200 miles on this helmet right out of the box and felt great afterwards. Some issues, however. If you wear glasses, then one-handed operation of the chin guard is difficult in that when you pull it down it forces your glasses painfully into the bridge of your nose as you try to get the latching mechinism to lock. Two-handed operation is much better as you can lift up on the helmet as you pull down the chin guard and make it seat, thus taking the pressure off of your glasses. The other issue pertains to the pinlock visor. Condensation built up in the small space between the pinlock post and the very back of the main visor. That little area of condensation robs you of that last bit of periheral vision as you do a head check. It was a bit surprising as I thought I was looking out of a perfectly clear visior until I needed to make a head check and realized that my vision was obscured. Be advised of this shortcoming and you should be ok. Overall, this is a great helmet.
Yes, I recommend this product.

 Bell Star Cerwinske Carbon Helmet
Bell Star Cerwinske Carbon Helmet
Bell Star Cerwinske Carbon Helmet Bell wowed the helmet and art worlds in 2009 by joining forces with street artist Jona Cerwinskie to create a production graphic that was anything but standard. Cerwinskie, best known for taking a Sharpie marker to a 200,000 Lamborghini Gallardo, used the same freehand technique to design his signature graphic for the Bell Star Artist Series. The intricate, high-contrast, black-on-white design became an instant hit and now Bell has followed it up with a new carbon fiber edition-- the Bell Star Cerwinske Carbon. Reversing-out the graphic, Cerwinskies graphic is now white on top of raw black carbon for a look that is both high-tech and street-savvy. The upgrades compliment an already stunning helmet-the Star features Bells exclusive Velocity Flow Ventilation with FlowAdjust for amazing ventilation and temperature control. The helmets shape is truncated to create a super stable aerodynamic signature that eliminates lift and buffeting even at high speed. New on all 2010 Stars is another Bell exclusive-the MagnaFusion magnetic strap keeper. Completing the package is the easy-to-use and change 3Mode Shield with ClickRelease as well as certification to the new Snell M-2010 standard. Features Velocity Flow Ventilation system with FlowAdjust for maximum ventilation and temperature control Super stable aerodynamic signature resists buffeting and lift Super lightweight all-carbon fiber shell Contour Cut Cheekpads for superior fit and comfort 3Mode Shield for instant on-bike shield adjustments, and ClickRelease for the fastest, easiest, tool-free shield swaps ever NutraFog II superior anti-fog, anti-scratch and UV protected shield Removable and washable, antibacterial/antimicrobial interior comfort liner Includes self-adhering TrackStrip for additional high-speed stabilization at track speeds Exclusive Magnafusion magnetic strap keeper (Patent Pending) - NEW FOR 2010! Padded chin strap with D-ring closure Five-year warranty Comes with clear faceshield Certification Snell M2010, DOT

This is my second Bell Star. The first one just saved my head when an idiot tee-boned me two months ago doing about 40. I was thrown from the bike (Victory Vision) and ended up with a broken shoulder. My head was fine and I distinctly recall it bouncing along the pavement several times before coming to a stop. So, you can see that I'm a bit biased towards the Bell Star line genrally. This carbon version is even lighter than the regular Star and fits perfectly. A lot of money, but for an awesome fitting and performing helmet. The graphics get a lot of attention as well.
Yes, I recommend this product.

This is an expensive jacket to be sure. But, taken in context of all of the things that it does -- superior protection; excellent cold weather capability; and nice styling -- it is well worth the money. Just be aware that when you have all of the layers zipped in, this jacket fits a bit snug so make sure that you purchase a large enough size.

To be fair, you must compare a helmet in this price range with those equally expensive, so I'm comparing it to my Arai Corsair V and Bell Star. Overall, the Star is the still the most comfortable of the three, but the X-12 beats both the Star and the Corsair V in every other category. It fits as advertised, has incredible vision, and is very quiet at high speed (100+ and I could still hear myself think, even in a head check). Ventilation is superior to both of the other helmets. Quality of construction is superb. The real show stopper is the finish. The graphics are so beautiful that you are tempted not to wear it at the risk of putting a blemish on the thing. Overall, its a lot of money, but when you wear it, you know you are very protected and riding in style.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I was looking for a carbon helmet and chose the Kali based on price -- less than others on the market. While it fit my head, the check pads are too thick and press into my face. Comes with an even larger set, which was interesting. No smaller pads available. Biggest problem is the face shield -- very cheap looking -- almost distorted vision. Takes away from an otherwise very nice and well made helmet.

This jacket is everything I was looking for -- lightweight with body armor included. I did upgrade to a SAS-TEC Back Protector. What I like best about this jacket is the fit -- I am 5' 10 1/2" and 200 lbs -- wide shoulders and stocky build. Most performance jackets (Euro fit) just don't fit me. This one (a size 58) fits as it it were hand tailored. The side adjustments at the waist permit you to cinch it in at the bottom as loose or as tight as you want. Quality is also over the top. Not inexpensive but worth the cost.
Pros Comfortable, Rugged, Fashionable
