I've road raced one season with these boots. Durability-wise the threading for some of the armor on the inside ankle area (the area that rubs against the rearsets) wore away and the armor began to separate. This became more and more a problem, and eventually the armor began to catch on the rearsets (preventing me from moving my foot to operate the shifter, which resulted in missed shifts...not good). To remedy this I wrapped this area in gorilla tape, which seemed to work, but for boots this price, this is unacceptable. Not sure what Sidi can do to remedy this, but maybe this use-case is a bit extreme (repeated road racing), not sure if these boots are really targeted for this kind of usage. I chose these boots for how quickly you can put them on, and remove them. This makes them VERY convenient compared to something like the vortice.I had 1 very high speed crash in these boots, I slid into a tirewall feet first at least 30-40 mph+. Protection wise, I have to say they did their job, I've had A LOT of crashes, and this was the worse impact my feet have ever experienced (smacking a tirewall at speed). My left foot hit first, at an angle, which resulted with my ankle attempting to roll (twisting the ankle), I feel if these boots did not have the bracing system my ankle would have been utterly destroyed. I did have a nasty contusion on my ankle but x-rays showed no fractures, a week later I was walking normally again. Thank you SIDI!

I'm an expert CCS road racer, and I've been through a lot of suits through my career so far (agv sport, teknic, fieldsheer, dainese, Alpinestars, Rev'IT) Dainese always has me coming back for more due to their durable construction and hardshell armor designs. I prefer the hardshell armor with soft backing, seems to absorb the impacts much better, and provide "bracing" and "stiffness" that I find more protective when crashing at triple digit speeds. The soft armor other manufacturers use don't seem to do as well. That being said, I just walked (more like hobbled away) from a 100+ mph crash (turn 4 summit point) where I lost the front in a turn that has a wall very close by. I knew when I lost the front it was going to be bad, so I immediately put as much leather on the ground as possible to slow myself down before I hit the tire wall, I managed to burn some small holes through the elbow areas. I did impact the wall feet first, and suffered a minor contusion to one of my ankles (nothing broken). All in all, this was my first crash in a kangaroo suit, and it did very very well. Love the lightness and mobility that this suit offers, airflow is also incredible. Very expensive but its hard to go back to regular suits once you feel the "freedom" a kangaroo suit offers. Hard to believe, but it almost feels like you aren't wearing anything at all.

I have crashed extensively in this. I'm 5'9.5" 160lbs (fairly thin but still muscular build) and the size large fits me perfectly. I have taken very hard hits to the chest, back, shoulders, and elbows in this, with very good results (no broken bones, or even bruises for that matter). I am fairly new to riding offroad and MX so I crash quite frequently. I am old (34) so I can't afford to break myself too badly because I work for a living. This is why I invested in this setup. I look forward to using the neck brace as well, my brother has the fusion 3.0 with the neckbrace, and hes taken huge hits in that as well (knocked the wind out of him due to a huge chest impact) but was OK. 2 minor compaints, one of the aluminum screws rattled loose off the back plate, and the stretch shirt material seems like it could be tougher. Other than that, this thing has took a severe beating and has held up.

I purchased the base + cap for an 09 zx6r, and it didn't even come with the gaskets. I have to call Driven, and they sent me the WRONG gaskets. Sent them another email and no response. Don't waste your time OR money on this garbage. Plenty of other manufacturers make a superior product especially considering the price. I've also noticed that it is EXTREMELY hard to remove the cap, the fitment seems a little off. Last time I ever buy a driven product, ever again.

I have not ridden in this suit yet, however I have ridden, extensively raced, and crashed (3 times) in a Rev'it Tarmac, which is almost an identical suit. This suit looks to be made out of the same materials and fitment is EXACTLY the same. I have a very hard time with finding good fitting suits, I am 5'9", 185 lbs with a very muscular build (large glutes, thighs, chest/pecs, triceps) and a 54 euro fits me PERFECT with knox armored underwear and knox contour back protector. Always test fitment of your suits with armor ON. I've crashed in a few suits and the Rev'IT seems to be one of the better ones that can hold up in a high speed crash (90 mph +), the armor absorbs impacts very well, even when tumbling/cartwheeling through the gravel pit, the monaco leather/superfabric holds up amazingly well to abrasion. The shoulder/elbow armor is what really attracts me to this suit, on my Tarmac suit features the same external armor plates and they took huge hits and compressed to absorb all of the impacts. I have crashed in other suits with inferior shoulder armor designs and they will leave your clavicle in pieces. The mobility of this suit seems to be on par with the Tarmac, and that is really saying something. There is so much STRETCH to these suits it feels amazing, freedom of movement is truly something this thing does EXTREMELY well (you won't get tired fighting the suit, very comfortable, no hot spots to poke at you, allows you to get crazy with the body positioning). Speaking of comfort, the only negative thing I've found is that the inner liner has some velcro in places that you can feel scratching you, but if you just take a second to reposition them, its all good...other than that this is the most comfortable suit I've ever worn. The airflow with this suit has been upgraded, more superfabric is being used in areas and even more perforated leather, makes this suit GREAT for those hot days at the track, or if you live on the west coast. .Rev'it suits are hands down better than ANYTHING Dainese/Alpinestars is currently manufacturing.
Yes, I recommend this product.

This is not my first suit, I have raced and crashed in a few suits. I trashed my last suit racing at Summit Point and I took a trip to Revzilla's store to find an inexpensive replacement. I'm 5'9" 180 lbs (fairly muscular build) 40 inch chest, 30" inseam, 34" waist. The size 54 EU fit me well (a little loose in the forearms, tight in the chest) with knox contour back protector and armored shorts. The sizing is pretty close to Alpinestars suits. It fits a little tighter than the Rev'it suits (of the same size). The quality of this suit is very good for $1000.00, leather feels nice and thick, seams look well constructed. You get full length knee + shin armor in the legs, and gp style full length armor in the elbow/forearm. The shoulder armor is somewhat watered down compared to what you usually see in the higher end Dainese suits. Frontal ventilation is good (lots of perforation), however rear (exhaust) ventilation is pretty poor. Overall the suit still breathes pretty nicely. Mobility isn't as good as a lot of higher end suits (accordian stretch panels are minimal) but still gets the job done. Overall I like the suit and it looks REAL nice in person especially considering the price. This is Dainese's entry level suit, and its WAY better than a lot of higher end suits out there.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Will keep your hands warm and dry, however if you are doing extended rides in low temps, consider heated gloves. These gloves fit true to size (I wear large, and large fit fine). I was surprised of the quality in these gloves, fit and finish is very good, especially for gloves made in vietnam. Padding and armor is better than most winter/rain gloves offer.

I had two 50 mph lowsides in these pants (once on the left side, once on the right). I slid on my hips/butt for the entire slide both times, and these pants held up perfectly fine (no injuries sustained). They are a little scuffed up, and have a few tears near the calf area (I think the peg did that) but are still usable. I like the feature where the zipper goes up the entire side of the leg, it makes getting in and out a very simple affair. The waterproof liner is a joke (doesn't keep out water at all). Overall not a bad purchase considering I got two crashes out of them!

I've tried 3 different xena disc locks, and received WAY too many complaints from my neighbors due to false alarms. I tried this and it works AWESOME. I have a 2009 Kawasaki Zx6r and it fits around my rear rotor or front rotor fine. I have not had ONE single false alarm, and 0 complaints since I've started using this. My only complaint is that the alarm is very quiet.

I had originally intended to purchase the Dainese New Delmar jacket, however the perforated model did not come in black (which I personally require). I am 5'9" and 185 lbs (avid weight lifter) and the size 50 EURO fit absolutely perfectly, even with the Wave G2 back protector inserted. Usually I fit size 52 Euro in almost all jackets, so the fitment seems very large (order one size smaller than usual). I cannot feel the back protector at all, it conforms to my back very well. It is fall right now (temps of around 40-60F) and you can definitely feel how well this jacket flows air, and I don't even have the vents open! This is probably one of the most technical Dainese jackets out there. This jacket flows insane amounts of air, and makes for a great choice for very hot climates. The liner is very comfortable, and smells fatanstic (almost has a deodorant/cologne like scent to it). Overall, I am extremely happy with the quality, fitment, functionality and aesthetics of this jacket. NOTE: It is not made in Italy, it is made in Ukraine.
Yes, I recommend this product.
