 REV'IT! Dragon Jacket (4XL)
REV'IT! Dragon Jacket (4XL)
A removable lining is not unique. But a removable lining that looks like a stylish jacket on its own is. The DRAGON offers that and more as a true example of a four-season textile jacket, with all the advantages of the REVIT! 3-layer integrated system. This makes it perfect for a variety of climates and weather conditions and a great 4-season jacket choice. This jacket will zip with any current model men's REV'IT Pant but feature-wise the Dragon Jacket matches up most closely with the REV'IT Sand Pants. I have used this jacket every day now for approximately the last year. I commute daily From Vashon Island, WA to Redmond WA.
The jacket looks great and the innovative features are above average in comparison to other jackets at this price point.
One issue I have is the lack of durability in the retainer wires in the snap fittings, especially on the neck closure. It will no longer stay closed.
This needs to be a VELCRO closeure as when I wear different thicknesses of liner (BTW I had to stop using the ones that came with the jacket as they are problematic and cumbersome) I need to adjust the neck and as the neck is amll to begin with, it is already at the end of the adjustment range with a light liner, let alone a thick one.
Another major issue is the pockets, they have split and shredded, so now I have three pockets instead of two, this happened on both sides, you need to have more Velcro in high use areas and make it so it covers the stress areas of the opening not just the middle.
If this were not my main jacket it would have been perfect, however for a truly rugged daily commute is a little to light weight and fragile.

REV'IT! Axis Pants The REV'IT! AXIS was purpose-built to meet and exceed the needs of the daily commuter. You had a laundry list of requirements, and we listened. REVIT AXIS is a 100 waterproof, wide-fitting overpant, which can be donned quickly over jeans without the need to remove your boots, thanks to a 2-way side zipper. The outer shell is constructed of a strong polyester fabric with CE-approved armor at the knees, which can be adjusted in height on the inside. AXIS is simple, strong, practical, and durable. Asked and answered. REVIT PROTECTION FEATURES Outer shell polyester 600D Waterproofing water resistant Composition outer shell 100 polyester lining 98 polyamide, 2 polyester Protection Knox Flexiform CE protection at knees Visibility laminated reflection at calves ERGONOMIC FEATURES Fit tour fit, regular Adjustability adjustment tabs at waist and ankles Features elastic at waistband, two-way easy entrance zipper, belt loops

Slightly Small

The waist closure system is inadequate as a single snap does not make it secure enough especially when trying to access pockets on my street pants, they simply pop open to easy.
The zipper on one side have already failed, although the full length of the zipper is very great when putting them on and off.
The knee pads do not want to stay in one place. The way they are secured, thin Velcro strips, is just not adequate to keep them in one place.
They have kept me dry throughout a vey wet northwest winter and spring and they are very comfortable as over pants, I have a 35 inch waist and the XL is a little snug.
However for half of the price of the next level pants, they do a decent job.
